I think the anti -hunter went and magnetized the poles...heheheh Next time aim for the poles .I`m sure with all those pigs around you should hit one? I know get a helium feeder...no poles to hit heheheh. Oh well ya can`t hit them all .
i agreee with wcresponder that metal pole is gonna be alittle on the rusty side in taste with barbque sauce lol .dont let these idots get you down we all miss from time to time all you need to do is retune your bow for pigs and not metal pole

NP with hunting at all, but I think feeder hunting is cheap, and unsportsmanlike. Always has been. Training an animal to come to a feeder every day, then going and camping the feeder every once in a while is not hunting...it's literally shooting fish in a barrel. IMHO anyway. The hunt is where it's at...not the kill.
@zx7trev baiting does have its place in hunting but yer hardly slim pickings there a bit of local knowledge and you could be all over those pigs on foot. 1 year on still no sightings of pigs just very small signs and I crumbled and put a bucket of corn in a hole. I tell ya Im dieing to head back this weekend even tho it was untouched the last week. Its a glimmer of hope for me anyway.

Ummmm, what's the deal? If you use a feeder your not a hunter? How about hand thrown corn? Tracking one down is fun too, however pigs do have a very keen sense of smell and good hearing. Hunting is hunting. Doesn't matter what your opinion is about how it should be done really because the definition is the same.
This is NOT real hunting. If you can't track down what your hunting or wait for it then your NOT a true hunter. Just save your money and head to the butcher shop and stop pretending to be a hunter. Why not go to a hog farm and shoot a hog there. Hell its the same thing your doing with a feeder.

@Flippit1303 thats where your wrong. hogs are very destructive dangerous animals that are out of control. they spread like wildfire and destroy native wildlife and farmers crops. hogs are very smart, and no matter what you do, short of dropping a bomb, would get rid of all of them, no matter how hard people try. you have to have a way to get rid of them some way.
I'm not arguing the fact they they do need to be controlled but just pointing out how this to me is not true hunting IMOP. Yes they do need to be controlled because they can do extensive damage to ones property.
Just like when you are looking for a female companion you don't just track her down or wait for her to come by. You go where female are most likely to hang out and you use something to attract them. I hope I am making a point and not giving a lonely guy advice. :)
