1972 Monte Carlo new cam break in 2k rpm for 20 minutes

@lvhimvl Well we thought it might too but so far it runs cool with the over sized after market aluminum radiator, without the fan shroud. My dad refused to put it back on since he thought it was ugly. The radiator also came with 2 electric pusher fans we mounted on the front. We have had to use those sitting in traffic a few times to knock it back down to 180 or so. So far hasn't overheated though! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!

@doogaman77 Well it took longer than that, this was per the cam break in sheet we got.... just 1 part of it that was 2000 rpm for 20 minutes.

im sure you fixed this already but your alt belt is loose lol not going to give you instructions because im sure you know how to fix it :P

what Voodoo cam is it ? 60203 268/274 ? I'm installing that on my 402 elky this winter.

@Camarons Hey thanks for watching the video, you are correct it is the 60203 but the cam sheet says its 268/276. Good luck with your install!

oh sorry, my mistake with 2degree ;)

havent installed it yet but will do it in couple of months.

Do you have any specs to the engine ? i'm only swapping the cam to my '72 block with stock pistons ect. only the intake is edelbrocks rpm air-gap with 600cfm carter on it, will swap 600 holley with the cam swap.

@Camarons No worries LOL The engine is the factory 402 big block. It has had a mild rebuild sometime in its past. Since we got it we have added the the Lunati Voodoo Cam, 1.7 Roller rockers, comp lifters, Weind Stealth Intake, and a Edelbrock 750 Carb. A lot of attention has gone into the suspension of the car too it has a full BMR kit. I made this page for my Dad and his car, I will try and get it updated for everyone a lot has changed with it.
