I Got it and its the best antivirus ever it scans every webpage u get into and it tells u if it is infected or sumthing really like it and IT DOESNT SLOWS UR PC i really recomend it :)

Aside from the ethics of publically posting the results of a closed Beta, I'd love to know how you managed to install this beast? I downloaded the Self-extracting file form the Beta library (yes, I am a registered tester), but the installer never starts after the files are extracted. Even starting the Presetup.exe and Setup.exe didn't work. The mods at the forum have no clue as to why I'm having this trouble. What's your secret?

Avast! is a relic, however good it is, and all support has been dropped. If you want to run an outdated version with no AVS updates, that's fine, but it asking for trouble.

So u say avast! isnt good ? Can u an anti virus ? So if no why judge other then. avast! is contrary better in some ways of Avira that Avira never catch. Like a good exemple in term of exploit detection avast! is better than Avira. No or yes it is true. That you didnt want to say its true then its easy to prove and see it by your eyes. Every 3,6 secs a website is infected.

Look, I use Avast so you cannot pin me on that. Even the people at the Avast forum say that Avast is better than Avira in raw detection but Avast is better features and FP wise. Avira free doesn't have exploit protection but that doesn't mean it won't catch the files.

IMO, I cannot stand Avira free on my computer, too many FPs so I am not being the way I am because I use Avira.

Because it is pretty much working on the free version and doesn't do much. Just because something is in beta doesn't mean that it will get so much better in the final version. From beta to final version the main difference is that bugs are fixed. Avast's behavior blocker is a very mild behavior blocker and will not achieve anything like threatfire.

The web guard will just catch things sooner. All of those threats would have been caught later on in the download process if the web guard had been disabled.

Sorry ;) Avast will not be taking the advance. I have tested Avast and it is not this good. Avira has the best signatures right now and I haven't seen it bested.

I know it seems like it but they don't because they missed that one file. They would also have had to check malwarebytes list and I don't see them doing that. It is a little known one.
