@jacksawild Clearly, I wasn't suggesting to use unrelated tags. I'm sure they knew the problems with the tag system when it was instigated but only putting a couple of basic tags only serves to ensure your vid won't get seen as much as others.

I actually think they should decrease the value (in searches) of each tag you use relative to how many you have which would encourage people to be more balanced in their tagging... Of course, until they do, it is a case of lowest common denominator rules.

If you want more people to find your video you should ad more tags. Include as many word related to the video as you can and any possible spelling variations/mistakes... eg. central reality tv carel colbear steven daily show john... or Jacob is awesome might get a few hits for people searching for "Awesome Jacob -warewolves" but as I'm not in the video that would be wrong ;)
