I watch lots of anime and listen to nothing but metal. Usually at the end of an anime there's a corny song that I usually I would fast foward through, but this song when I listen to it I can't help but to be engulfed by how beautiful the music and her voice is.
@zero11322 "A" book? Try 130 with 21 side-story novels. It's THE longest continuing, single-author's work in the world. But only five have been translated and released in English.
And no, there doesn't seem to be any plans right now for a second season of the anime.
@pelicland Well, to be honest, it'd be more difficult than you would think. Since Latin has ceased evolving as a language, being considered a "dead language," its vocabulary is relatively limited. Words now exist that cannot equivocate to anything in Latin; some of the meaning of the lyric probably would also be lost. That, and the fact that the Latin piece is not original to this song. It is actually a popular lyric and full of terms often used in Catholic worship/religious songs.
@Aimingforcute I can't deny that latin is not the original of most of this song but there is a part of it in latin and neither you neither me can't deny it. English is not the original language either and even English is never used in the original song whereas latin does ! Therefore trying in all latin may make this song to have a unity in an only one language that English can't make it due to the latin part.
You seem concerned by this song and I daresay I find this version correct if no more
@pelicland What I was saying was that the Latin section is sampled...and not written specifically for this. It was written a long time ago and actually has very little to do with the song's lyrics in any language. I was making no comment about English or Japanese, only that it would be difficult to write original Latin lyrics. I was not concerned but rather making a comment on a language I've studied.
Put her up in Eurovision and this song would pretty much dominate all the others. To call it brilliant and beautiful would be a serius understatement on both the japanese and english version...
I'd prefer hearing a completly latin version. I'm sure about the style. However Saga made a great performance either in English version and either in the Japanese one.
I just love Kanon's voice...so beautiful. I discovered her while watching Angel Heart. Thanks for the upload.
Love Guin Saga...wish the anime can continue too.

Who sings the english version ? I like the song from the anime show. Sounds like an "opera" elevating/flying feeling soon.
How can I get the english lyrics ?
