  • Exquisite:

Jack Bruce: the Soul of Cream.

My favorite very favorite solo cut of his, and I've got lots of favorites.

If there had been rock'n'roll in Middle Earth, it would have sounded like this.

  • This is beauty! i just love it! thanx mr bruce!

  • Beautiful, haunting and unappreciated--this album has some real gems on it. I guess too many people were disappointed it wasn't Cream, but they're really missing something.

  • an all-time favorite of mine. Nice video too

  • Met JAck LAst Week Going in + coming out of his Manchester venue " Band on teh Wall " for his soundcheck Posted pics on F.Book

  • can you follow....isnt on you tube....too bad.

  • @titan57nl Now you can check it on my uploads :)

  • Beautiful change-up at 2:01

    CLASSIC Jack Bruce here...

  • Jack Bruce's solo albums are VASTLY under-appreciated.

  • @pickwickbowl TOTALLY AGREE, i have been following Jack's solo career since Cream broke in 68. Songs for a Tailor, Harmony Row, and Out of the Storm are classics

  • i had this album there was also asong thet started with "hey can you follow"or something cant remember any more maybe you can help thanx the dj

  • @djsoundwanker Its actually called "can you follow", great song too!

  • @djsoundwanker great album, i have been listening this since day i got it in 1971, when was a senior in high school. songs remain timeless, especially tunes like victoria sage, consul at sunset, and post war

  • @BLUESMANRONCHICAGO Exactly the same for me. In fact my classmate gave me Songs for a Tailor because he hated it (nothing like Cream lol)! I immediately loved the album & have played it ever since. These albums are timeless & defy catagorisation. Perhaps because Jack was profficient at so many instruments & had grown up playing in orchestras. I love this stuff

  • Thank you for this wonderful song, yescure6 :-)

  • Sounds like King Crimson at points. I just love this song very much.

  • If you search for: jack bruce-rope ladder to the moon

...there will be a 10:26 file which includes this song also,(about the middle) Jack Bruce live at his home !!!

  • terrific song.

  • I got to like Bruce when he was with Manfred Mann, way back in the 1960's.

This is my favorite though of all his songs.

  • @burgersoft777 first gto into him when he was with graham bond, then thru years with cream and have followed his solo career more than any artist, he has always been an inspiration to me in my music, especially his harmonica playing. have been doing traintime and rollin and tumblin for many years

  • this is just another example of why i love youtube.

thanks for the post. I love this song.
