How come they take it away from the PC. Makes no sense they would have the sandbox style game play and there is now 6 cores can you imagine what they would do.
I like the changes, the levels while linear feel expansive because you are drawn to where they want you to go, yet feel as if you left much unexplored because you were in a rush to get out of there to save yourself. It also helped with story delivery and pacing. They really nailed the pshycological action thriller feel they promised.

Alan Wake turned out to be a beyond amazing game, but it still would've been interesting to get to play at least a sample of 2005's version just to see where this game first woke up at.

@GideonFrost the silent hill story in my opinion is not NEARLY as good as alan wakes and Resident Evils AI Is not as good as alan wakes either. in alan wake the enemys try and surround you so it makes it tough. if you think the AI is bad thats probably because you played on a low difficulty level

I'm very pleased that they waited to release this game! the '05 trailer was not worthy graphically. The games true potential is seen here in 2010 with the game's release.

Well here is a good question to ask, if it does come out for PC will it be open world, because I know we as PC gamers would be able to handle it. I think what will happen is that they will release it like 4 months after Xbox360 for sales then sell it iwht open world for PC gamers which every one knows that they will buy because it would be like a new game, with open world. you do know this game has changed right. the 360 couldn't handle the open world experience they first sought for, so now they changed it to linear story only. Yep, no more exploring freely. Textures only load up when you are close, not like how it was running on this PC demo.

@lunarrising12 PS3 is MUCH more powerful due to it's 7 core cell processor. Yet, the devs are not able to fully take advantage of it yet.. The developers of Crysis 2 stated that it runs better on PS3 than Xbox 360. Keep that in mind.. Everything is narrowed down to the developers. If they fail to do a good job, then it's their fault. I suggest you learn more about each of the consolves specs and what the different techs involve. What is a cell processor? what's the difference? learn more please.

Now it's confirmed to not be getting a PC release at all. It's now an Xbox 360 exclusive. I know a whole lot of PC owners are pissed, especially considering the fact that the first few years after it was revealed, it was running on a quad core PC.

Looks cool. As a Silent Hill fan I'm definitely going to try this out, since it reminds me a bit of it. I'm just hoping the gameplay is as good as the graphics. Too many games these days focus only on the graphics and forget the rest.

It'll be way better on PC. No doubt. Every game is. Consoles tone things down a lot since they're so compact and have many limitations. 4GB RAM should run great and a dual core should be pretty good as well. Get a decent graphics card and you should have a great time playing this, compared to 360. :)

Mongoloid consists of dark/yellow skinned people whilst Caucasoid are white... that's black, white and yellow.. American, European and Asian... This might be a bit too advanced for most people yet i'm not the one who needs to learn more.

PC gaming is 10x better. Why? PS3 and Xbox 360 are only able to run new games in 720p and most of the settings on medium/low (costum for consoles, but similar to comps it will be low/medium)
Pc= 1080p - 2048p (possibly even more) Ultra high settings, AntiAliasing, AF, Hbao, DX10-DX11, Tesselation..
Conclusion: Have you ever owned anything esle than a laptop? Lmao!

Wow this game has been in a work in progress since I was in 5th grade, by then I was just getting rid of my old ps1. I would have blown my brains out if I was a developer for this game, almost 5 years is too much for one person, or well for me. I would have quit by year 3 lol.

Now it's confirmed to not be getting a PC release at all. It's now an Xbox 360 exclusive. I know a whole lot of PC owners are pissed, especially considering the fact that the first few years after it was revealed, it was running on a quad core PC.

Looks cool. As a Silent Hill fan I'm definitely going to try this out, since it reminds me a bit of it. I'm just hoping the gameplay is as good as the graphics. Too many games these days focus only on the graphics and forget the rest.

It'll be way better on PC. No doubt. Every game is. Consoles tone things down a lot since they're so compact and have many limitations. 4GB RAM should run great and a dual core should be pretty good as well. Get a decent graphics card and you should have a great time playing this, compared to 360. :)
