People these days don't dig origin stories, especially classic ones that everyone knows about.

You don't have to be really into comics to know Superman comes from Krypton, Batman's parents

were killed, or that Peter was bit by a Spider. We know what's going to happen.

@etrko Actually, this series was released with a movie that included the origin, electro, and sand-man. That's why sandman never appears and electro only once.

this show will always be my all time favorite animated series, that said i think the majority of peeps claimin spectacular spiderman is crap havent actually watched it.i agree the cartoony character drawings arent for me but theres no denying the fact that technology has come along way since the 90's giving the fight scenes & movements of the new series a vitality & excitement this show could only dream of.i can't see any true spidey fan watchin the episode 'group therapy' without seein my point
