Surplus does imply imbalance in budget, and gov. did take more than the exact amount required to balance(sounds bad when put that way), but it is lot better than having trillions deficient. How did anyone "jump in line?" There was a series of elections and caucuses. Hillary Clinton simply didn't get the votes.
If you are really a Hillary supporter, I hope you will follow her lead and support the Democratic nominee.

I wouldn't say that Hillary is unraveling.
Remarks used against her were completely blown out of proportion - frankly, desperate efforts by the media to stop her from winning the popular vote, which she already has (take for example, the RFK remark which RFK's son said was not offensive at all.
I am more concerned about Obama's major gaffes & lack of judgment in relationships with hateful religious leaders, & by the hate displayed in YouTube videos against former First Lady Clinton.

I take a class at the university armory and part of the Soldier's Creed (is that the right name for it?) on the wall (ARMY ROTC) that basically says "I vow to...destroy the enemies of the United States." I'm paraphrasing that...but that's kind of where I stand...we wouldn't have given Hitler some Hilton Hotel treatment just to be humane...I need to look more into this though and rewatch the video.

what hillary said is true - there is little evidence to suggest that torture actually works. many torture victims will admit to doing something that they didn't do if they believe it will make the torture stop. more importantly, we should examine an issue for what it is, not say, "the more fascist nations do it, so why shouldn't we?" yikes. when the gov't condones torture, they send a powerful message to citizens about the acceptability of torture. it's just wrong, wrong, wrong.

Few months ago, I was evenly supporting Senator Clinton, Senator Obama, and Senator Edwards, but now, I can definitely say that Senator Clinton would be our best choice to lead the country. I don't know if she is a very good human being although she has done quite a lot for less fortunate ppl esp deprived children, but without a doubt, she is heck of a politician. Oh by the way, words of advice for those willing to listen if they haven't done so or know so already: the media is exaggerating, distorting almost every single thing about every thing the candidates have said and done right now. They don't care that the fate of the country is in peril; they just want to sell their news. Surplus does imply imbalance in budget, and gov. did take more than the exact amount required to balance(sounds bad when put that way), but it is lot better than having trillions deficient. Also, during Clinton administration, an average American had a decent earning, saving and expenses compared to now. I understand that it was pre-9/11, but the economy is getting close to the worst scenario. Hopefully, the tax rebate will help a little.
