I love it. I want to drive 5 and a half hours to see this band in Montreal. I can't believe that they are not playing all over my country. That is sad. I love them and just discovered them. Thank God for the internet.
Instructions for the listener: get a pair of good headphones, lay down on your back or sit comfortably , turn off the light, close your eyes. And, eventually, light a joint.
One last brief whisper in our loved ones' ears to reassure them and to pierce the fear standing at controls then still unknown we told the world we were about to go Somebody help me I'm missing, somebody help me I'm missing now touch with my mind, I have no frame, touch with my mind, I have no frame. Well now where is the time and who the hell am I, here floating in an aimless way? One last brief whisper in our loved ones' ears to reassure them and to pierce the fear
It's excellent work... Lyrically and thematically it's like a darker follow on from Bowie's 'Major Tom' Around this time experimental, prog and Krautrock bands were developing 'space rock'- We were still in the era of moon landings, overlayed with a Cold War background where USSR and USA were competing even in Space... I would guess that might be somehow reflected in the doomyness of this number

I may go to Bethleham Pa instead of Montreal to see them. I don't know. It is closer. Obsession with their music.

This is a really creepy song. And I mean that in a good way.

The first time I heard this song, i thought it was one of the worst things ever put out by Van Der Graaf Generator...noe I think it's just awesome!

I am now quite alone, part of a vacant time-zone,
here floating in the void,
only dimly aware of existence,
a dimly existing awareness,
I am the lost one, I am the one you fear, I am the lost one,
I am the one who crossed through space,
or stayed where I was,
or didn't exist in the first place .....
