its not at all like the book. there are only a few places the group goes, the lotus hotel, aunty em's, and the enterance to the underworld. the worst part is, there is no ares, or kronos! luke is just the bad guy! i h8ted it!

Yeah saw the movie today and it was just horrible. Nothing like the book. I expected some parts of the book to be left out honestly but nothing like what I saw.

It's nothing even like the book, they only got one of the 2 evil ones right and they even messed him up.

Added scenes to movie that weren't even mentioned, just complete disaster, very disappointed.

Really expected this movie to be decent success right under twilight and harry potter.

I took a class in Greek and Egyptian mythology in high school so I am familiar with Medusa the Gorgon and what she does...I just thought it was funny how in the book he uses a sphere and here, in the movie, it's an iPod.

oh my freaking god percy is so hot i want to cry just looking at him and hearing his voice and yell and seeing his smile and omggg im in love. he is so much better than taylor lautner. hahahaha this is gonna be the best movie ever!!!! cant wait!!!! although, as its made by the harry potter director, camp half blood looks a lot like hogwarts. annabeth really bothers me... SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE BLONDE. but its okay... best movie ever!! chiron is perfect!!!!!
