ISO is not a video format. No video editor will convert an ISO file but can convert video files contained within the ISO if it has access to them.

An ISO image (or .ISO file) is a computer file that is an exact copy of an existing file system.

Usually you need to convert videos you've downloaded from sites like youtube (in FLV format) so you can watch them everywhere.

Mediacoder only converts videos from one format to another. It doesn't upload them to some video sharing site like Youtube.

In fact, you don't need software to upload videos to Youtube.

if not, be sure to save the file through movie maker so that it will be playble as a WMV, or whatever format you'd like. with this, you can choose to convert it into a different format, or simply upload it onto youtube already.

Couple production tips:

1) Don't use a "close-up" of the screen for the whole video. Close-ups are used to emphasize something. Generally, you should stick to showing the full screen, or at least half-screen.

2) Set your screen colors so that text under a selection is visible so your viewers can see what you've selected.

Other than that, not a bad basic how-to.

Hi, Pls be kind enough to reply. Using mediacoder,I converted some dat files to WMV. And dat to AVI. Now the problem is for editing, either Window Movie Maker or Camtasia does not accept those converted files saying "codec" is not right or something to that effect. I want to put those videos to YT after editing. Can some one pls help. Thank you.
