add arabic language about 400000000 cipta speaks in this language and japs language just 126milion and we use the android and iphone alot so please suppor us.
You guys might get sued because apple will attempt to patent the virtual voice assistant and say you ripped them off like they recently got with gesture unlocking which was already available on android.
@gio132050 it sucks, it just answer very stupidly, and don't do any task, just a question/answer machine, that doesn't answer properly, and use a mediocre response engine.
People who wants to actually make a conversation with your phone are gay... talk to a real women. Will ya? I think this apply is great! Fuck Siri user!
It is unusual but this app appears to have an edge over google's own voice service. I think this one can launch apps easier... but I think it needs more work.
I hope they make many improvements to compete directly against 'Siri' for iPhone 4S.
@SalientK a good question, but the two are really quite different. We offer three features in particular that the native Google does not. (1) A completely handsfree experience with our InCar mode - you can send texts, get directions, make calls, and have your incoming messages read aloud (2) Social updates and check ins on the most popular networks like Facebook, Twitter and foursquare (3) Get things done with great partner content like OpenTable, Fandango and KAYAK
@GlobalCop We had some bugs in the initial 3.0, but we've released several patches. The current version on Android Market is working a lot better - same accuracy and stability that everyone expects from Vlingo products.
@VlingoVoice I used Vlingo a year ago, then I switched to Google Voice Commands, but was never super happy with Google's version. I installed Vlingo 3.0 last week and it is AWESOME. The one feature I wish it has was calendar integration, where Vlingo could read out my appointments, and allow me to create new appointments in my calendar. Add that and Vlingo is PERFECT!
So is this just an interface update, or did they change the guts of the software? I stopped using it a while back after it started sucking down my battery.
Siri for still.better than vlingo. Please rework the program !

I really want custom wake up commands. So I can say something other than "Hey Vlingo" to wake it up and say a command. For example:
"Computer!"
"Yes captain?"
"Send a message to Spock, I'm running late. That lunch with the Klingons gave me diarrhea."

@Risket That's a great idea. As an old Man From UNCLE fan, I'd like to access it with "Open Channel D."

It's awesome. I think Vlingo and Google develop a voice command app together.

Is this app data hungry. How much data does it consume per instruction.

Shivammcool 4 months ago
Isn't this all stuff that you can already do with Android's built in voice commands? An app for it sounds redundant.
