One of the best, indeed. Till now I still haven't figure out most of the moves yet, and it genuinely frustrates me even when I'm not a serious gamer because this really looks THAT good to me.

Nice run. I agree. Best fighting game yet for Power Rangers. Or even the major fighting games out there. I am serious.

i wish they did games like this now with the zords in the power rangers games,pr games wouldnt suck so much then but they cant remember the engine they used for the zords. the zords where the coolest part of the power rangers thing. how can they stupidly keep leaving them out of games?

@XIIMCMGIIX They're very responsive to say the least, but some moves like Ninja Megazord's aerial vector kick is damned hard to pull off for me.

And I'm pretty 'meh' at fighting games

The Muteki Daishogun (Shogun Megazord) in 'reality' is shorter than the Ninja Megazord.

Its just that in the game, the Shogun Megazord is made different.

I remember this game when it first came out but I could never get my hands on it for some reason. Power Rangers was still a huge hit when the movie and Season 3 came out. In reality, the Thunder Megazord would never win a battle against the Ninja Megazord. The Ninja Megazord is way faster and powered by the ways of the Ninjetti. Besides, if you get destroyed by Rito Revulto, what makes you think you can hold yourself in a battle against the Ninja Megazord?

In the Sentai series though, the DaiRenOh (Thunder Megazord) and Kakure Daishogun (Ninja Megazord) are probably equal in stat distribution, but specialize in different ares w/ DaiRenOh being an all-rounder and Kakure Daishoogun being a speed type.

In fact, in a Sentai Ep (which I think was the Sentai equivalent of Forever Red), the Muteki Daishogun (Shogun Megazord) appeared onscreen with the DaiRenOh and Daizyujin (Original Megazord) before to rid of a common enemy.

That thing you were talking about probably wasn't canon. One of the megazords/mecha in it was supposed to have been damaged beyond repair its own series, one of the rangers we saw in the battle was supposed to be dead.

@randomdrifter Actually that was a movie and it was called Super Sentai World the Dairangers lead the Fiveman, Jetman and Zyuranger (MMPR) teams to help the Kakurangers (MMAR) out in a fight against a demon. The movie was originally shown at amusement parks in Japan. Now I'm not sure if Kibadaioh would win against Kakure Daishogun and Muteki Shogun in your book who would win?

In the Power Rangers canon though, what you said is true, but well, video game laws dictate otherwise since they want to make money instead of bothering about the canon.

Also, in the Super Sentai cannon, which the Power Rangers gets it's footage from (most of it, there is some that's American made), that battle never happened. Rito's counterpart was in a different series.

In the thing with Megazord, Thunder Megazord and Shogun Megazord against a common enemy, there were two other "megazords" helping. Super Sentai is much older then PR had been going more then years before the MMPR was made.

I must say even though I have played ps,ps2,xbox,xbox360 and psp3 I still have to say I love this game both for gameplay and music.I had it on super nintendo more than 10 years ago.

Some of the tunes are catchy, that I give =)

The graphics are nice for its time as well, and they've aged very well to date (unlike a lot of 3D games).

The gameplay is pretty fast paced, and intense when you're going up against another player, that's for sure, so why not?

Its a good game =)

When you actually get back into it, I think you may actually find yourself a 'better' player. I for one, haven't touched this game in donkey years, and only decided to pick it up when I actually same some videos of it having been posted here on YouTube =)

Not the best fighting game ever, but it was fun in its own right, characters were mostly balanced (save for Ivan Ozze, which defines 'Completely Broken'), and probably the best Power Rangers game yet.

Unfortunately, I disagree to that.

During that time, there was another fighting game that was a notch above this - Gundam Wing Endless Duel, which featured similar mechanics to MMPR - TFE, only better.

The newer PR games are all disappointing. All of them are lacklustre in comparison to other games of today's standards. While they're definitely ot the worst, you can't call them cream of the crop either.

Super Legends for the DS is obnoxiously generic, and the one for the home consoles feel lacking overall (with a gangster-ish MM Red Ranger!? WTF!?)
