  • Anyone in the Seattle music scene knows that this is all still VERY alive!!! There is a second coming of the 'Seattle Sound', just you wait!!

  • @Nitrousoxide2k Well I don't live in Seattle - far from it, actually, in the midwest, but I was heavily influenced by many bands from Seattle. I started writing my own songs, and now I just need to find some bandmates. My music sounds kind of grungy. I have also started noticing that there are still bands out there who still sound 90s-ish.

  • @corptkm I am very interested , I bought Pearl Jam 20 because it all starts with MLB , what a great band , Andy Wood was a ROCK STAR but he had a fatal flaw , some rockers can deal with addiction but Andy couldn't. It's sad because the talent that he had , listen to " Crown of Thorns " a masterpiece !

  • thank u so much 2 pandora nd pearl jam 4 introducing me 2 this kick ass band

  • one of the best ever love songs totaly changed the "norm" of love songs for me

  • I love this so much

  • SHIT

  • Destined for stardom , gone too soon , your music lives on Andy !

  • This song makes me horny..

  • I wish, I wish, I wish...<3

    I'm daydreaming again :/

  • all i can say is WOW!!!

  • Outstanding!!! How can be described these years? The 90s? Mother Love bone, pearl jam, blind melon, alice in chains, soundgarden, mudhoney.... God...where was I?

  • GRANDIOSO. "No more pretend..."

  • im also a friend of andy s release all his material his friend bolan has some great tracks u tube them MEDICINE MANN 7 OR LOGAN BOLAN HE SAID ANDREW S MA SAID HE WAS A BELIEVER IN JESUS SO IS BOLAN I KNOW THEM BOTH ... IM BRETT FORREST ...THEY NEED TO LET GO OF THE ANDREW WOOD STORY ..POLYGRAM OR HAVE THERE BUTT S KICKED WE WANT TO SEE ITTTTTTTTTT NOW U GREEDY JERKS

  • ME TO!

  • I'm in!

  • I would most definitely purchase such a thing if released. I have a strong spiritual connection to Andrew Wood, and am in the process of bringing some of his magic to the world in my own music. Already have plans to visit his grave when I go back to Seattle.

  • Great Video for a Perfect Song of a Perfect Band!

  • I'm in!

  • I can't even remember which MLB song I heard first, now. But I only know if it weren't for Pearl Jam I would never have known about Andy and MLB.

  • i will gonna watch and listen to this video 100x a day so it can surpass the views of that bieber!!!!!

  • stardog champion was the first song that got me into these guys then this is shangrila and it went down hill pretty fast from there. now ever song is great. every song every song every song well yea every song is great. every song is great

  • I Loved MLB from the word git-go! I was so sad when I read the final interview w/ Andrew Wood in RIP Magazine (I fucking miss & love RIP 2!) and afterwards I went all in and bought everything I could find and I find one of the coolest bands EVER! The GNR of Grunge! Frontman Extrordinaire! It breaks my heart and makes me sad to think that Andrew had only scratched the surface of what he could have done, but Thank God we have what was left behind.

  • I only knew Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns from Singles OST. Yesterday I dug deeper into MLB. Man I'm heartbroken. Andrew was wild and wildly creative. Temple of the Dog has new meaning. Such a Band, such a performer.

Yeah man, I'd get the DVD.

  • What would North American Music look like if Andrew Wood wouldn't die?

Andrew, a great talent, we still miss in these days.

  • @Ask4Green well temple of the dog and pearl jam wouldn't have existed that's for sure

  • "Like my world, I'm on fire..."

  • Hard not to hear Brad in this....

  • @ Ih8craplikethis - if you're a hard drug addict, there's no such thing as "the ultimate high"

  • Quit hate'in on eachother...damn...Am I the only one who hears peace in the words Andrew Wood sang? Every death is a tragedy to someone! Do we honor the person we lost by being hatefull and angry? If so (in this case)...your the bigger fan dude! You know all the details of Andrews live and Death, but did you catch the message in his music? I honestly don't know anything about the man? I just know that more than 15 years later, I'm still looking these songs up to introduce them to others.

  • For the uneducated h didnt take lane bro from Alice it was coke but its all good we will all jam 2gether in Heaven noway the devil took thier wondeful soulz with music like this wen its Gods music really but till then eat a cheezeburga and help an old fat balding headbanger rockstar wanna be who never made it n download some false teeth oldlady granny porn at

    c l i p s 4 s a l e c o m/6780

put dee ledderz and the W's and shit so i can buy aburga NMoreweed!!

love ya God blez ur booty!!

  • @darlamilf47 Sounds like you're the uneducated one cuz it was heroin.

  • @mjpanek68

It was actually a mixture of coke and heroin its called a speedball and when you're a hardcore drug addict it's the ultimate high. It's what killed Chris Farley too and Jim Belushi I think, but anyway it's really dangerous.

  • @mjpanek68 Yes, I know what a speedball is, but heroin was what started it all, and what continued to be his problem. I have been following them since the early 90's, watched every interview, read every article, and very rarely does anyone mention coke. That is what it progressed into in the end.

I'm sorry, but I find it really hard to even listen to someone who doesn't even know how to spell the mans name. LAYNE !!!!

  • @darlamilf47 you're an illiterate fuck.

  • mr. quinn rock on from the gunshow

  • got any?

  • these guys was awesome its a shame that heroin took such a fabulous band and im proud to be a big mlb fan thers nothing like smoking herb and listing to then jam

  • one of the best bands and albums truely spiritual rock on

  • @corptkm - We are looking to release 21 years after the death of Andrew Wood who was a very good friend of mine. A video never before seen footage live in concert, along with a few songs never heard before as a 2 DVD/CD set. I'm sure most who love MLB will enjoy this video. However we would like to have a response from you people if you would be willing to purchase a video of such. Please post your opinion here if you are interested. Thank you

  • @corptkm YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!When and Where?

  • @corptkm Oh god yes! Please do it, I'd fucking LOVE to see a video of Mother Love Bone with new songs. :D

  • @corptkm Hell Yeah, Please.. don't hold back on MLB fans for sure..

  • @corptkm i would pay ten trillion dollars for such footage !

  • @corptkm

I would love to have this in my rockumentary collection.

  • @corptkm i have a few still photos that i took of mother love bone at the cactus club in san jose in 1989... really amazing close-up shots of andrew, et al. if you are interested, i will scan them and "donate" them to you for the video if it's not too late. you can message me on here... and we can work it out. up to this point no one has seen these photos. it was a show with bang tango and alice in chains... still have ticket stub and HFMB t-shirt also! PEACE & XOXO <3

  • @corptkm

Fuck yeah man, i'd buy it...

  • @corptkm Hopefully i might by it. Im just starting to get into Mother Love Bone. i do love these guys:)

  • @corptkm Never heard Andrew Wood has me intrigued, truely saddens me to think how long its been... though for me to BUY IT, the audio has to be quality.

  • @corptkm Hell Yes!

  • @corptkm I would LOVE to purchase that!

  • @corptkm Would love to purchase it on DVD.

  • @corptkm Very interested.

  • @corptkm yes, yes, 100000x yes.

  • @corptkm Yes!!! my friends and I have an Andy memory page on facebook. Please inbox me with information... I'm sure the fans will love it

  • @corptkm release it on the net man for us all to enjoy, put it on there for everyone, give Andy his credit, you say you good friiend, well then put the music out there! thats his legacy

  • @corptkm I`m really interested in Malfunkshun: The andrew wood story, but sadly is not available where I live, and I`ve tried to purchase it on ebay but I haven`t found anyone who ships to Central America. If you know where i can get it online, i would certainly appreciate it.

  • aye

  • The mother of grunge...

  • no doubt

  • Sublime

  • my hubby sang this to me all the time but changed the words to Seattle and put my name in it and instead of boyfriend he'd say husband. He's the sweetest guy in the world. To this day I still love him more than life itself. I love you Shawn W.

  • long live THE BONE thru the internet and true fans

  • although it was tragic that the lead singer died of an overdose . If he hadn't there never would have been pearl jam or soundgarden. i gotta tell ya i love M.L.B. , but soundgarden got me thru a lotta dark years as well as pearl jams early stuff.

  • yeah really without glorifying heroin or alternative liefstyles the grooves come from being in the groove and or the zone ive managed to be in these grooves without heroin but definately need to be around creative and inspiring people

  • I gotta say it, drugs and music together get you crap like " Domo Arigotto, Mr. Roboto"

  • As tragic as Heroin was to the 90's rock scene, it was a necessary evil. The music wouldn't have been the same without the influence of heroin addiction. That's why today's music sucks balls. There's no drug addiction influence on it. The early 60's was weed, late60's/early 70's it was acid, late 70's/80's it was cocain, and in the 90's it was heroin.

Without the drugs, the music wouldn't be as powerful, nor would it have had the life it had. It would have been empty just like the shit today.

  • @WarmothGuitarist heroin ruins everything it touches, including music. it totally destroys an artist's creativity. compare sublime's 40 oz to freedom to robbin' the hood, then to their self-titled album. huge difference, all in a span of 4 years.

pot and acid are a totally different thing than heroin. and look at all the shit that the 80s is remembered for. besides punk, there isn't much to be proud of. if coke is the reason for that era, im glad its not as popular anymore

  • @jakenfriedlove

I won't deny it ruins what it touches. But take the heroin away, and you just removed alot of the emotions that MLB, AIC, STP, Nirvana, Sublime, etc. put on record for us. Not only the songs, but the depth of the thought in which the song provokes in its listeners. If I heard Junkhead, Godsmack, Frogs, Died, Gentle Groove, This is Shangrila, Something in the Way, etc. without knowing that heroin was the point or was invovled in the writing, they'd seem empty and soul-less.

  • @WarmothGuitarist or maybe theyd still be artists and have made something else to express the world they live in? heroin doesn't sing you songs, people do, and heoin kills people, slowly

  • Comment removed

  • @WarmothGuitarist come on,those bands would be shit whether they took herion or not. some people are artist and some are misguided.

Anyway, I've never heard your music so i can't really say. Although I imagine itll be something like 'you're not them', sad but true..

  • Comment removed

  • @MrYardlebird And some are just musical geniuses who can't deal with their own thoughts.

  • @mjpanek68 exactly

  • one band callled " brad " carries this spirit along up to now !!!!

  • it reminds me on the cult. ian astbury would sing this perfectly

  • As of this post 4 people have no idea how to get a gentle groove on...

  • miss you, kid

  • Yeah it is so fucking true, the more I listen to this album I realize how big this band would have been. MLB would have been what Nirvana was to everyone, probably more. This is soooo much better than Pearl Jam. Imagine the "big 4" Soundgarden Alice In Chains Mother Love Bone Nirvana. No offense to PJ fans, I like Ten..

  • i sit, i listen, i drift away.

  • @HillClimbersForum <~ best comment on this thread

  • @Ekyvvsaq sorry not tryin to offend ok thats how i see pussyass pearljam but thats my opinion

  • @TheSabbathaddict How can you call Pearl Jam a 'pussy ass band???

Heart and soul man.. and lyrics that mean something!

Very relevant dude please do not dis PJ~@mmmmdmdleorkgmgojm~~~~~@@@@

  • Really one superb song. Should last some minutes longer, I hate fate-outs ...

  • this reminds me of great times with my wife.... she's no longer with me and i miss her more than words..... thank you for posting this song!

  • Music has a way of doing this my friend. Seattle grunge seems to take it one step further. This also has a special meaning to me.

  • Its really confusing trying to decipher Andrew's lyrics. What would you guys say this song's about?

  • i think hes sayin u can insult him and gossip but it doesnt affect him - slow his GENTLE GROOVE

  • yea it sounds like that, it makes me think about either a break up, or first starting to go out with a girl... i'm not quite sure

  • about being in love yet it causing pain so you are torn between the emotions of hurt and love at the same time

  • @CapitainHiTop

it's hard to tell man. he was a great lyricist though. had he not died they would have been huge. i never got into grunge, but these guys were not grunge.

  • @curdog602 i agree, they never were grunge. I don't even consider pearl jam to be grunge but i still love MLB and Pearl Jam

  • actually Layne died from a shot of cocaine....You take a shot of coke first....then chase it with heroin.....nice if it works......deadly if it doesnt

  • this song is so great

    love it :)

mlb was a class band ^^

  • heroin is a bad mutha,,,,i know!

  • Im gonna laugh when you OD you fucking idiot. Look at all the talented musicians we have lost to drugs.

    Jim Morrison

    Andrew Wood

    Layne Stayley

    John Baker Sanders

    Bradley Nowell

Wanna end up like them? Endulge in hard drugs all you want

  • and kristen pfaff from hole as well as jeremy michael ward from mars volta

  • and thats just a small handfull of the talented musicians we have lost

  • heroin did't take 3 great musicians. 3 grown men with the ability to make their own decisions took away 3 great musicians. Their fault.

  • Hell yes you nailed that right on the nose! Did you have a dagree In psychology?

  • live fast, die young

  • @mattbecker56 Hey you can give him a thumbs down if you want, but all of them made their own choices

  • I love this fucking song! These guys could've gone so far... goddamn you heroin, you took 3 great musicians. RIP Andy, Kurt and Layne.

  • no shit! what loss we had in seattle...

  • Lets not forget Bradely nowell.

  • Very true, except Kurt (is believed to have) shot himself. So Kurt didn't die straight from heroin, he only did it. However, Layne and Andrew did indeed die from it. Three of the greatest musicians of all time.

"But the Earth can't contain such greatness".

  • @ligguma fuck ya heroin can go to hell

  • @ligguma Too bad Freddie(Mercury)died too but of aids. :'(

  • @ligguma and Ben McMillian

  • @ligguma and Shannon Hoon

  • @Ekyvvsaq Shannon Hoon Died from a Cocaine OD not Herion, but hell still a drug that took a great away from us..... RIP WOOD,HOON,COBAIN AND STALEY may you all now be in peace but still ROCK HERE with us

  • @ligguma Yeah FUCK HEROIN.. It's taken two of my cousins.. I hate that shit..

  • @ligguma Yes they could have. Drugs lay waste to so many talented people!

  • @ligguma if it wasent for herion this wouldent have been made

  • @ligguma And Sid,

  • @ligguma well Stone Gossard and Jeff Amett went far with Pearl Jam. U could almost say MLB was the bridge towards PJ.

  • @Oni64 They were - Big Shtyle

  • @ligguma

Yea, and Chris "fuckin Timberland" Cornell survived... Bad choice, God...

  • @ligguma

    Shannon Hoon

  • cool song to drive to with the top down...and HIGH

  • Nie ma takich słów w słownikach, by wyrazić uczucie, jak to jest piękna piosenka !!!!

  • love rocks needs to come back.....all real rock today is has too much negativity, death, and tragedy.....

  • I agree, If I was there with you I would give you an agree blowjob

  • This is broshane

  • Living in L.A. I worked with kyle who just lost eddy vedder, and he told us the story of the cooledt band. I felt part of them. I remember when Pearl Jam was on the radio, kyle came running out, , "this is it" and I listen to them everyday. Temple of the Dog is the best tribute albumb ever and for ever

  • i find it weird that they excluded kevin wood from that album.....as he was his brother and all

  • He was who's brother?

  • andrew wood's brother was not put into the temple of the dog album......which is weirs as kevin wood was his brother and made music with him when they were in malfunkshun

  • Comment removed
