Nowhere else in the world would you get this. nowhere. We are the best SUPPORTERS on the planet. We are not english, we are scouse! loyal, knowledgable, witty and honest. All you "soccer am" generation fans will never achieve or understand this so post all your bullshit but face the fact that you will forever be in our shadow. Because we are Liverpool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im sure theres more than 4 fans singing, yes well done there is 4 fans gettin interviewed, but everyone there supports liverpool , so fuckoff you gobshite,
this reminds me of the old "vote of confidence" speech from a chairman....we all know what happens next.....i feel the writing is on the wall....the rafa voodoo doll is taking pins every day from both fans and media
dont like Rafa but yes this is Liverpool way and well, respect for the designation.sad its rafa but hope he proves his critics wrong.but i dont see that happening under him
Idiots..the same tits that claim 'culture', 'history' and 'heritage' and welcome faceless Americans who don't know what association football is and then support a fat spanish waiter who has spent a quarter of a billion euros on players and to whmo a good season is finishing 4th...sad...
You mean the rest that went to the game and were chanting "Rafa Benitez" "We love you Rafa" etc etc.
I speak for the majority of Liverpool supporters, not phone in fans or those adversely influenced by them, when I say that we support Rafa and while results have been poor (there's no denying that) we still know that with the resources available he has over-performed as a manger over his time here.
resources available? he has spent more than teams that have won the premiership!! He has had a massive turnover of signings - buying players then selling them the following season....while finances might have tightened up over the last 2 seasons he has had far more cash than most. Managers like Hodgson and Moyes have over performed based on their resources - you cant seriously claim Rafa has....
Moyes can spend £12m on Yakubu, £10m on Andy Johnson and £15m on Fellaini, and he is not expected to compete with Liverpool, and I agree he shouldn't, he doesn't.
Rafa can spend £17m on Aquilani and (contrary to popular belief) £14m on Johnson, £20m on Torres, Yet he is expected to compete with Man U who can spend that on squad players, like Nani, Anderson, etc, and can spend £30 m on Berbatov.
This all without taking wage demands into consideration.
Moyes signings were never together (unlike the outlay on Aquilani and Jonhson for example) - he makes one large signing every few seasons and sells to buy - johnson sold to buy Yakubu, Rooney sold to buy players, now Lescott . Rafa was given additional funds to buy torres etc and didnt have to sell to finance it (although that may not be the case now)
You also point out the exceptions in Moyes side - the big money player - of which he hardly has any. His side is made up of Cahills, Artetas, Jagielkas, pienaars - £2-3m players - and homegrown players - Rafa has to buy the finished product and cant spot talent like that at bargain prices.
I think Rafa is a decent manager, but i dont think he is a 'liverpool' manager - he doesnt have an 'air' about him and is always quick to blame others and make excuses. I dont think you will win the title under him and were lucky with the CL team (that he then dismantled
The outlay for Aquilani and Johnson came almost solely from the Alonso transfer, however I do see your point.
I would add though that Moyes has had his scouting team in place for a long time now, whereas Rafa has only had his in place for a year or so. Also, the Academy got a massive shake-up during the summer and more recently has had people like Kenny Dalglish come out and say that there is great talent coming through. Those are more criticisms of the club as opposed to Benitez personally.
Rafas been there over 5 years so if he only established a scouting network a year ago thats negligence! I am not a liverpool fan, and i think its admirable and correct that some of the fans are standing by him whilst he is still manager - but i think ....
1, had he not just signed a new deal and the board could afford to sack him they would have - not finishing top 4 would be a major disaster given the clubs debts 2, he is not a 'liverpool' manager or worthy of the club, given the managers you have had in the past - he is a mediocre manager .
3,he 'replaced' Xabi with Aquilani who i think will prove not to be in the same class, then spends his transfer budget on a right back when you have only one decent striker who is very injury prone (and had plenmty of cover at RB) - i found it baffling. I remember looking at the figures last season for spending and liverpool had outspent Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea since Rafa had been in charge (apart from one of these clubs in one summer)
- i will try and find the link again. Even more concerning for me would be his turnaround - Anfield has been like a revolving door - loads of players going after a season, some in the same season - he must have gone through 2 or 3 whole teams ! These things ARE down to Benitez. Fair play for your loyalty - but i do think its misplaced
If Rafa has outspent those all three teams, (especially Chelsea) I'll eat my hat. Maybe gross on transfers, (as you say player turnover) but not net. He has spent £64.2 mil.
Arsenal have spent less on transfer fees, but spend a lot more on wages, and their scouting systems have been in place for 10 years or more as with Man U (whos figures are ascew with the Ronaldo transfer.
im Not a Utd fan and i dont think they will recover from selling Ronaldo (you cant replace a player like that - no matter how much of a tit i might think he is at times!) - but he doesnt skew their figures - they bought him for £12m and sold him for £80m (or whatever the exact figures were) - thats not skwing - thats great business and transfer income is part of clubs income.
I will try and find the link tomorrow re:spending - but it was surprising - a lot of LFC supporting friends didnt believe it until they sat down and studied the figures - Chelsea spent a shedload when they were after the title - but, relatively, very little in the last 3/4 seasons
I tried to find some Man U figures, but have no luck, pre-2006, without having to exert thinking power and write stuff down (lazy, I know).
One big problem of Liverpool's has been the tying down of squad players to contracts, because they can't afford to. Arsenal have renewed 15 contracts in the last 12 months.
Liverpool, 6. Chelsea also can afford high wages, eg. Ballack (free transfer £120k p/w) which doesn't do justice to this argument, but I'll take your word for it and have a look.
Liverpool has been badly run off the pitch for about 20-odd years, and Rafa had no real control up until April last year. Before that it was Rick Parry who held all the cards.
I admit it, the club was shambolically run, but the tide seems to be turning behind the scenes, there seems to be more organisation as Rafa has taken control and then delegated the jobs to those he feels to be competent, which can only be a good thing long-term.
I think we are starting to improve on the pitch also, so (I hope) a Golden sky is ahead.
As for the "air" or "aura", I have to disagree. While the media portray him as the "fat Spanish Waiter", he does come out with a few real good quotes, and kept himself under control brilliantly in a post-match interview recently (I'll try and find a link if you want, the reporter was disgraceful)
same old arsenal, as usual you will drop points towards the end of the season and win nothing. Btw, im not surprised your watchin this video. It should inspire you arsenal fans.
No offense, but with the resources available to our club, we shouldn't really be any higher than we are. Rafa Sold Houllier's players fora combined £43.9m and has had £64.2m to spend on top of that for 6 seasons, meaning that he had to build a complete squad bar 2 players on £108.1m. He has bought and sold at a profit to get any more than that.
Even Wenger hasn't had to rebuild a complete squad in the same way, as he has been there far longer, along with Ferguson, so I sympathise with Rafa.
we are deluded! fuck off, you chelsea twats think football was invented in 2004!!! where are your european cups you thick cockney knob-head! if you can't stand the noise, then don't watch our videos, it's fuck all to do with you - go and try and find some videos of chelsea fans, good luck - as if anyone would bother filming you's! see the flags in the video, they are proper flags, not stewards handing them out either!
So much anger and nothing to show for it. typical Chelsea full of mouth, calling the odds and won nothing. You hand out flags to your own fans at a Champions league semi against us to create atmosphere. Then those embarrassing 'JT Legend' and 'Mathew Harding' (God rest his soul) created by the club to look like the fans had done it - then you come on here and embarrass all of West London with this nonsense.
This is what is needed more in football for love and support for your club more than money.what these fans are saying has so much truth in it its fantastic to see fans fight for there manager and Im a 100% Manchester United fan
where the fuck are all the so called liverpool fans then. Why havent i seen any posts on here saying rafa out and all that bollocks. these are real fans. YNWA
It makes me proud to be a red when I see clips like this. I love it! Fans of Liverpool - hold your head high, even though its a shitty season so far, we can still brag that we're there for our team even when it's windy and lives up to the words in YNWA.

Well in lads. Rafa isn't going anywhere. The scum loving media want him to go because they know if Rafa gets some real money to spend they will be in trouble.
These Lads R Right..U Ave 2 Stick Bye Ur Manger..Nd I Think Dis Proves That 90% Of The Kop Dont Hate Himm..10% Might..But Wen We Start Winnin Dey'll B Bak Agin..In RAFA WE TRUST..Always Have,Always Will..
Going through a shte patch, a 6 pointer at home against the team that is sitting in LFC's habitual 4th spot. Capacity of 45400 at Anfield yet attendence was only 42,016 i make that a shortfall 3384 (minus 50 free tickets given away by the board = 41966 paying customers).
I heard a kopite today say he couldnt go last night cos he couldnt get a ticket....again....(fuck me pal, i get offered 6 every game!).
lets look at some facts, you can barely sell out goodison for your cup final. why dont you get off our video and go watch your Everton 3-0 Liverpool dvd.
The last 4 derby's at Woodison i've got tickets in their end on general sale. General sale, for a derby, for a team whose fans supposedly all live on County Road
this why we are everything other clubs are not it is not just our success & proud history that sets us apart but even deeper than that is our philosophy of collectivism that appears so alien in such self obsessed times the media despise us out of fear, in the words of giordano bruno on facing the inquistion he replied.........perhaps you my so called judges pronounce this sentence against me with greater fear than I recieve it.........WE NEVER WALK ALONE
thats rubbish - Like ALL other clubs when things arent going well - some fans want the manager out - some dont and will stay loyal until he has gone. As for your success setting you aside from all other clubs, 20 years with relatively little success has allowed other clubs to match your success - the difference is their success is in the present - not the distant past
lol knobhead...personally i think rafa should get the job for life!
he's the only man in english footie with the bottle to speak out publicly against the ranting and bullying of lord bitter baconface and survive,
actually better than that. LFC completely fcuking humiliated manure last season despite the "Rafa's crackin's up" chants from the scum tourists and prawn sandwich brigade. u cant put a price on that!
Im a Norwich fan, I went to this game.. I think liverpools support towards both team and manager is admirable Credit to all of you :) YNWA, OTBC

Fuck me....
There's gotta be at least 50 fans there!! Gone are the days when 1000's would wait for the team to arrive.
Bet the guy selling the flags did a roaring trade!! "Quick lads buy a flag and get yaselves on tv" Daft cunts...... See More
Seriously though. In all fairness, to find 50 scousers at any Liverpool home game must have been a hard task.

So lets look at some facts hey!!

How fucking sad are you creating this username to have a pop at Rafa, sad you lad sad.

lets look at some facts, you can barely sell out goodison for your cup final. why dont you get off our video and go watch your Everton 3-0 Liverpool dvd.

The last 4 derby's at Woodison i've got tickets in their end on general sale. General sale, for a derby, for a team whose fans supposedly all live on County Road
CasperUK31 2 years ago
Obviously the missing 3384 fans must have got lost somehow...this equates to approx
68 coaches from such places like Yeovil, Brighton, Barrow in Furness & Kings Lynn
or
12 budget planes flying from such places as Oslo, Dublin and Denmark
Either that or they all fucked off up the M62 on Tue night to the COMS, after all its no secret that they seek the glory!!!

this why we are everything other clubs are not it is not just our success & proud history that sets us apart but even deeper than that is our philosophy of collectivism that appears so alien in such self obsessed times the media despise us out of fear, in the words of giordano bruno on facing the inquistion he replied.........perhaps you my so called judges pronounce this sentence against me with greater fear than I recieve it.........WE NEVER WALK ALONE
prinkipia 2 years ago 2
thats rubbish - Like ALL other clubs when things arent going well - some fans want the manager out - some dont and will stay loyal until he has gone.

UNITED UNITED how did you fare?
Barca were playing with 5 men to spare.
Embarrassing watching Men vs Boys, Messi and Xavi play with their toys.
A man called Bob Paisley has 3 cups to show,
does the purple faced Bastard ? The answer is no.
A long journey home, and the saying is true.......
