It is not so easy for some " American suburban white girls" . Granted there are a lot of them that have everything that could possibly be given to them, but not everyone was raised that way. Not everyone is emo or so self absorbed that they exaggerate the problems in their life.

I (age 26) love this song, and wish I could go back and tell my 13 year old self that no matter what pain I would eventually endure, I was going to make it. Try not to stereotype, like me some peoples pain is real.
