Don't even bother trying to relate the LSSJ to the Saiyan of Legend myth. Because the Japanese dub directly calls Broly's form LSSJ...and the myth itself as the "Legend of the SSJ"

Never heard of his LSSJ form? That's the name it was given to it by Daizenshuu. Broly's 2 forms is his SSJ1 and his LSSJ form....and he needs his LSSJ form to dominate. And its not as strong as a SSJ3...If it was then he would roflstomp Gohan for 15 minutes in the same way he did to the SSJ1s in Movie 8.

@054martinm In the second Broly movie, Broly is finally destroyed by SSJ2 Gohan, SSJ Goten and FPSSJ Goku forming a Kamehameha. Cell is killed by Ultimate SSJ2 Gohan (one-handed, severely weakened and tired). Since Toriyama never directly stated the difference in power-levels between SSJ2 Teen Gohan and the Ultimate SSJ2 Rage form of Gohan, you can't tell the difference between them. So it would be a close fight between the two.
@blingadude there are no ssj2s in movie 10. if there are, its not during the beam struggle. broly is killed by three ssj1s. goten doesnt count. hes too weak. gohan was drained. goku was ssj1 (for him thats just warming up). gohan wasnt severely weakened. more like 70%. goku told him he had all the power he needed and only the self doubt make him think he was weaker than he actually was. also he wasnt tired lol. cell hadnt even given him a challenge. sure he was tired after the struggle.
@054martinm Only 70% weakened? He had one arm. He was only able to get half the amount of energy out over a specific amount of time. Gohan was SSJ2 during the Family Kamehameha. Goku was (presumably) FPSSJ and since he had been training in otherworld for about 7 years, his FPSSJ form would be over Gohan's SSJ2 form. That would mean that the three of them would still far outpower 11 year old SSJ2 Gohan.

Gohan isn't likely to have lost 50% of his strength in only 7 years (King Vegeta was King for a lot longer than 7 years and was still the strongest of the Saiyans even though he fought no-one). Also, if Trunks hadn't blocked Broly's attack, he would have easily ended the three of them with his Eraser Cannon.

@054martinm Actually it is stated somewhere in the Bardock special that Bardock would soon surpass King Vegeta due to King Vegeta not fighting and Bardock being on the front line (just like Vegeta hoped to surpass Frieza). Yes three Super Saiyans are probably weaker than a SSJ2. But not a Super Saiyan and two FPSSJs. Also you can only excrete energy at a certain rate. Increasing surface area, increase the amount of energy able to get out... obviously. Therefore two arms is twice one arm.

It's like if you have a bucket of stones and have to throw them at something. If you use both arms, you can throw twice as much. If you had 50 arms, you could throw them all at once. I'm not talking about "it said so in the manga" logic or anything like that. I'm using general common sense. The short answer is "Toriyama is inconsistent".

MSSJ is the usage of SSJ with its full capabilities in contrast with SSJ Grade 2 and 3 which trades in power output with energy consumption (along with speed in 3rd Grade). I have no idea where you get the idea of "constant ssj", since Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan SSJ1 forms became MSSJ post Cell-Saga.

OMFG how is this complicated? READ. There's ONE SSJ2 Transformation. But there are THREE Characters who use the transformation. Goku, Vegeta, Gohan. Gohan can be split into THREE Categories since he made huge progress in between: Kid Gohan, Teen Gohan, and Teen Gohan Post Z-Sword. Vegeta can be split into TWO Categories: Pre-Majin Vegeta and Post-Majin Vegeta.
- Broly may be stronger than SSJ2 Teen Gohan, BUT that doesn't make him stronger than SSJ2 in General.

its funny because i have never heard of it in dbz. broly doens t need this form anyway. as a matter of fact broly has only 2 transformations the normal ssj1 and the original ssj form. with his legendary form he doesn t need to turn into ssj2 or ssj3 to have their power. he can have the power of a ssj3 or ssj4 in his lssj. and i doubt that in movie 8 he had a power lower than a ssj2 since he himself pounded a ssj2 gohan who needed lil brother goten and daddy assj kamehameha to defeat him

Don't even bother trying to relate the LSSJ to the Saiyan of Legend myth. Because the Japanese dub directly calls Broly's form LSSJ...and the myth itself as the "Legend of the SSJ"
- In Movie 8, he had the power superior to SSJ1, below a SSJ2 in general. Since I doubt the Toei Punch is SSJ2 Tiered. In Movie 10 he had the power to be superior to a low-tiered SSJ2, but below the higher tiered SSJ2s (Referenced in Movie 12).

Never heard of his LSSJ form? That's the name it was given to it by Daizenshuu. Broly's 2 forms is his SSJ1 and his LSSJ form....and he needs his LSSJ form to dominate. And its not as strong as a SSJ3...If it was then he would roflstomp Gohan for 15 minutes in the same way he did to the SSJ1s in Movie 8.

- Besides in Movie 12, Goku directly stated that Janemba was the 2nd person who was troublesome enough to require a SSJ3 transformation to fight. If Movie 11 and 12 are connected, that means SSJ2 Goku defeated Broly in Hell.

@054martinm In the second Broly movie, Broly is finally destroyed by SSJ2 Gohan, SSJ Goten and FPSSJ Goku forming a Kamehameha. Cell is killed by Ultimate SSJ2 Gohan (one-handed, severely weakened and tired). Since Toriyama never directly stated the difference in power-levels between SSJ2 Teen Gohan and the Ultimate SSJ2 Rage form of Gohan, you can't tell the difference between them. So it would be a close fight between the two.

@blingadude there are no ssj2s in movie 10. if there are, its not during the beam struggle. broly is killed by three ssj1s. goten doesnt count. hes too weak. gohan was drained. goku was ssj1 (for him thats just warming up). gohan wasnt severely weakened. more like 70%. goku told him he had all the power he needed and only the self doubt make him think he was weaker than he actually was. also he wasnt tired lol. cell hadnt even given him a challenge. sure he was tired after the struggle.

@054martinm Only 70% weakened? He had one arm. He was only able to get half the amount of energy out over a specific amount of time. Gohan was SSJ2 during the Family Kamehameha. Goku was (presumably) FPSSJ and since he had been training in otherworld for about 7 years, his FPSSJ form would be over Gohan's SSJ2 form. That would mean that the three of them would still far outpower 11 year old SSJ2 Gohan.

@blingadude his arm was hurt. he couldnt use it. doesnt mean he had one arm. losing an entire arm didnt decrease future gohan. in fact he did better than ever. he took on both androids at the same time. so no losing an arm doesnt cut your power in half. gohan only said that because of his self doubt. and bullshit. vegeta noted it was impressive that GOKU SSJ2 > ssj2 kid gohan. that means its a big thing to surpass that power. no fucking way would goku ssj1 > ssj2 kid gohan.

@054martinm Also, he's a Saiyan. He doesn't lose that much power. SSJ2 Gohan is probably less than 2x Goku's FPSSJ form. Gohan isn't likely to have lost 50% of his strength in only 7 years (King Vegeta was King for a lot longer than 7 years and was still the strongest of the Saiyans even though he fought no-one). Also, if Trunks hadn't blocked Broly's attack, he would have easily ended the three of them with his Eraser Cannon.

@054martinm Actually it is stated somewhere in the Bardock special that Bardock would soon surpass King Vegeta due to King Vegeta not fighting and Bardock being on the front line (just like Vegeta hoped to surpass Frieza). Yes three Super Saiyans are probably weaker than a SSJ2. But not a Super Saiyan and two FPSSJs. Also you can only excrete energy at a certain rate. Increasing surface area, increase the amount of energy able to get out... obviously. Therefore two arms is twice one arm.

It's like if you have a bucket of stones and have to throw them at something. If you use both arms, you can throw twice as much. If you had 50 arms, you could throw them all at once. I'm not talking about "it said so in the manga" logic or anything like that. I'm using general common sense. The short answer is "Toriyama is inconsistent".

@054martinm What? That's not even the point. The point is that SSJ2 Gohan is effectively half as weak with one hand as he is with two hands. Therefore if teen Gohan is more than half as weak as Ultimate Gohan, then the Family Kamehameha is more powerful than the Father-Son Kamehameha. Thus Broly is stronger than Cell.

MSSJ is the usage of SSJ with its full capabilities in contrast with SSJ Grade 2 and 3 which trades in power output with energy consumption (along with speed in 3rd Grade). I have no idea where you get the idea of "constant ssj", since Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan SSJ1 forms became MSSJ post Cell-Saga.
