Five stars for the upload (of a rare/unsold pilot), three for the quality (not your fault), and one for Vincent Price's counting abilities.

Yes, it's a pilot, but at least give 30 *actual* seconds instead of...well, less. Remember, folks, this is 1959 -- the Quiz Show Scandals are very recent, and still affecting everything.

Because of that, if you *say* the contestants have 30 seconds to do something, then you better make sure they *get* 30 seconds to do it in.

if this was for a pilot it may have been for examples sake and not actually a real game, thus he is just going through the counting without really counting actual seconds down

No. It was added in by the uploader (just like the information before the clip started) to demonstrate Price's quick counting of time.
