  • @animalsuperstar done already....check my channel page (scroll down)

  • @kazanjianm how about holding a spraypaint can

  • .....

  • THANK U VERY MUCH !!!!!!!!

  • A lot of artists draw the hands better than this artist. This artist is just copying from a photograph, while it is great, drawing is much more about than just copying from a photograph. A skill artist can draw a believable hand in any position from his imagination, but it can takes years of training. The skilled artist can do a hand from imagination because of his knowledge of anatomy, light, lines and perspective. Just my personal bias here..

  • i love drawings of hands, but i can never draw them. they always look wrong:( ur drawings are really good. nice job

  • thank u i got...... (after 20 times)

  • when u erase the black part it make it smoother so when u erase with the eraser it should completely erase but u make the black part smoother can u tell me hoe pls and thank u

  • I'm not trying to put you down, nor do I want to rain on anyone's parade--if these videos help you and give you courage to keep drawing, please keep at it. But, kazanjianm, I hope you're not a professional instructor. I'm not one of those "art-should-be-done-this-way-and-only-this-way" snobs, but looking through some videos, I see you promoting some bad habits. Graphite should never be blended with ANYTHING, and using the pink eraser on your pencil can leave streaks and ruin the paper, etc. etc.

  • and i still cant get it right

  • I followed along with your vid last night. I have the hardest time with drawing things that are foreshortened. I have to say....I did fairly well...If I do say so myself. I do have the hardest time with noses...so I hope to build this skill a little...to match my ability to draw eyes....which I am pretty good at. Thanks for the help!

  • This is exactly what I've been looking for as far as pencil and shading/blending. It's the one thing I've been stuck on.

I would usually start off with a midtone (basically a light over a whole object).

Then just add shadows and highlight, but as far as when to blend (usually just inbetween I'm guessing).

But anyway ty very much for the videos. =]

I can see you really put alot into them.

I'm also obsessed with wanting to be able to figure out shading in picture W/O a reference. =/

  • ... but I suppose that just comes with practice. Thx again!

  • you might like starting your drawing on neutral (grey) paper. A lot of the most famous draftsmen would stain their paper and use chalk for highlights, graphite or charcoal for shadows....as far as doing it from your head....yes. tons of practice...you would need to know anatomy, foreshortening.......plus, you would need to understand the effects of light....in addition to being able to imagine a light source....very few people could do that....Thanks for the comment!!!
