Stephen Merchant was THE Highlight of the film to me, he is a great actor and as you said (even though you didn't use him as an example) is wasting his talent in the movie, i watched it JUST for him.

I must admit its not a movie for grown-ups, but im 12 years old and i thought this movie was pretty funny, you dont need to judge a movie by its ''formula's'' or how many writers it took to write the script, its about the actual movie, what you see on a screen :P

I can't say I've like most of your reviews, but this is the first I've actually thought was decent. I think it's because of all your reviews that I've seen, they were all Positive Reviews. It's good to see you doing a negative review

@Animallover3300 Thanks...it all depends on the film...I come from a production background and knows the value and hardwork of making a film...so if a movie does what it's supposed to do, then it achieves its goal...words I can't use to describe Tooth Fairy :)

I think what makes you a great critic of bad films is that you keep your formal approach, whereas most I see just go straight into swearing and making constant one-liners. Adults find this moving boring my ass they do, last week I went to see the Tooth Fairy and there were plenty of adults with their kids, and they laughed along with and thought it was very funny and the "Cat Away" gag scored the biggest laugh in the theatre, so Manny the movie guy is wrong on that one.

You guys shouldn't be hating on Dwayne.. though he does do many kids movies just look at the numbers.. The Game Plan over $145 Million. Race to Witch Mountain over $100 Million. & Tooth Fairy out for 2 weeks over $40 Million already with just a $48 Million budget it should go on to do well. I do agree Dwayne should do more action, but check it out he does have two action movies coming out. The Other Guys & Faster. Dwayne Johnson is begginning his successful run in the box office.

@kayele true... because children are idiots and wouldnt know a good movie unless it had some sort of musical theme or/and talking animals. When adults rate kiddie movies - they see it for what it usually is... a giant peice of shit... but children see it differently - because they're under developed mentally and physically.

Dang 2010 is off to a bad start there's no movies i wanna see until that percy jackson movie comes out and having read the book i doubt that movie will even come close to the book i even see differences in the trailer ugh ... what movies are you looking forward to in the next couple months
