  • Solid body-weight work man. Do one shirtless to flaunt your crazy delt/pec definition, it might shut up a few of the chuckleheads. :P

Thanks for the good demos. Dive-Bomb and Half Dive-Bomb look brutal, I've been doing a similar variant of the Hindu push-up for a while but will definitely start doing the others. Props, dude.

  • The correct name for the Indian style push ups are Surya namaskars, and not Hindu push ups. The ones shown in the video are a modified form of them, try searching for the complete one. They are more effective and help exercise the core and legs too. I will post a link if i get one.

  • all I would say is try and get your forearms closer to the ground - even flat against the ground as you do it -

its harder yeah - you can handle it - and then go to one arm.

  • Can you further clarify the difference between dive bomber and Hindu? I want to try Hindu, but I am not sure if I am using the correct form.

  • Nice. I'm gonna try some of this in my daily routine.

  • yoga woohhooo... not

  • ditch the ads, thumbs down.

  • You're like Spider-Man on those last variations, I kept expecting your feet to slip.

  • Holy crap! The last set would kill me!

  • Great video.

    //mmacritic

  • Wow I hurt just watching these but they are cool. I am gonna give them a try. :-) Thank you for posting them.

  • i dont get the need for the porno music XD.

  • @kredit787

    Post a video.

  • @kredit787 You can lift 50kg with your nut sack? Sweet but post a video.

  • @kredit787 When someone is skilled and talented a lot of loud know it all dumb asses post ridiculous comments. This individual shared some of his skills and talents to help people and give them some body weight ideas making it available to watch. Eat shit nut sack!

  • @kredit787 shut up

  • @kredit787 Now that I'd like to see...from a distance though...lol

  • @kredit787 Translation = I am an insecure man. Watching videos like these makes me feel bad about myself. Therefore, I have to lash out at them in order to feel better about myself. LOL!

  • @kredit787 lmaoo stupid ass

  • @kredit787 still waiting for that video :P

  • I think Divebombers are more effective when the feet are together.

  • they all look like practicaly the same

  • @jomama239

    Oh, no... You didn't...

  • @Celciusss hey so all these different pushups work different muscle groups or just change the intensity ?

  • @jomama239 if you cant see the difference between the variations your an idiot. They are variations on one exercise so they will look similar. Have another look and maybe try them before posting stupid comments

  • @jomama239 my name is joemoma tooo!!!!

  • @jomama239 You said it! they all look the same but they are not! each exercice engages different muscle group.

  • @jomama239

Hindu Push-up is an upper pec/deltoid/tricep exertion, to a trunk exertion, to a spine/back exertion.

Dive bomber is upper pec/deltoid/tricep exertion, to trunk/tricep, back to deltoid/tricep.

Half Dive bomb is an upper pec/deltoid/tricep exertion into a tricep/chest hold, back intro deltoid/tricep motion.

Reverse push up is a trunk/stomach exertion, down to tricep/chest, then up to delt/tricep.

Learn anatomy pls, these exercises are hitting dozens more muscles than just these.

  • ARe hindu push ups more effective than normal push ups?!

  • @UKHairyPotter

    How do you define effective?

  • @Celciusss As in, if I did the same amount of normal push ups and Hindu push ups, does it make a difference. Is one or the other better if it comes to muscle growth and work out.. ?!

  • @UKHairyPotter

You will get the most out of DiveBomber.

  • @Celciusss you get more from the hindu pushup than from the divebomber. unless you want to focus intensly on the shoulders then maybe. But look it up, the divebomber, while effective for what it is, is functionally inferior to the hindu pushup even though it might actually be harder to do.

  • @Celciusss As in, if I did the same amount of normal push ups and Hindu push ups, does it make a difference. Is one or the other better if it comes to muscle growth and work out.. ?!

  • @UKHairyPotter The Hindu Pushup is considered a more advanced pushup, so I guess the answer to your question is yes.

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FINNISHING WITH THOSE HINDU PUSH UPS........ especially with no condums

  • @mrKANYEwes

    Oh Snap.

  • Wow diveboomber looks better than hindu.

  • those hurt like hell after a while

  • After 4 months of consistent training, I went from 10-12 Hindu pushups to 34!!!

Very happy! Shooting for 50 by the end of this summer!

  • @amazingdany

Good for you. Keep up the good work.

  • got some twisted push-ups there

  • This is how exactly other religions evolved using Hindu principles. Hindu push up is part of Indian body training before thousands of years ago. Now some one altered it and calling it Divebomber.

  • @MrKucchu

Believe it or not. Divebomber ivolved independently from Hindu Push up. All the respect for Hindu Religion and Yoga, but Divebomber ivolved independently.

  • @Celciusss i always thought they were created by an early body-builder; in the sandow era. oh well.

  • @MrKucchu who cares? someone invented fucking thousands of years ago, too.

  • @carbonlaminate yeah...kamasutra..!!

  • feet together

  • those divebombers hurt my shoulders like hell..

  • Great vid, thanks!

  • Make a video. Let's see what you got.

  • @Celciusss Lol walk the talk eh? I'm doing a routine by training three kinds of pushups: clapping Pushups (5 reps), one-handed (3-4 reps), hindus (10 reps) I always mix em up with the identical counterparts of squats (jumpsquats-10, one legged-5, and hindu-30) and some times when I'm feeling pumped I use a 20 pound weighted vest while at it. I've dropped the vest as of late, trying to repurpose my routine to some swimming and running now that I'm soon applying to be a Navy SEAL (wish me luck!)

  • you better start finning and rucking if you're thinking about being a SEAL.

  • @StrengthFromAbove83 hooyah!! I am training at least 3 times a week, 8 miles total runs per week, as well as 5k meters swimming. still feeling like I got a lot of work to do but I'm really focused.

  • hi im devising a home workout could you maybe give me some advice? its for strength for mma. should i do divebomber pushups before or after regular pushups?

  • @XzmazX I Like to do my reps in an explosive -max strength - endurance order to do the skill requiring ones before I'm tired, thats just me though you might think otherwise.

  • i norm do them endurance, then strength and explosion but ill try it your way see which is better :P

  • pervert :D

  • @TotalyZer0

Should have been called pervert push ups. ;)

  • @KungFuMil

Let's see. We have almost 80,000 members. The rest, was just you on drugs.

  • what the fuck are you talking about, not making any sense..

next time remember what your mother apparently failed to teach you - if you have nothing nice to say, keep quiet

  • the only difference is that a hindu pushup goes in a circle motion. under the fence and then straight back. A divebomber pushups goes under the fence and then back under XD

  • the divebomber doesnt seem to be going under the fence if its the second type of push up in this vid. it goes over then backwards under

  • What the hell is this divebomber? How come Hindu vs divebomber??What the hell? The pushup called hindu pushup was developed by ancient yogis of india and the one called divebomber was also variation of hindu pushup which is called DAND in hindi and has these variations. What is this Vs all about.

  • the last one focuses only on the back???

  • I would say shoulders

  • wow. I'd rather go do martial arts...

  • @nahumthebest

    You can do both.

  • @Celciusss

enta f handaset el matriaa :D:D

  • Your an idiot, you can do both

  • cool beat

  • Not to get off subject but Damn.. I need to find a woman who can do that.

  • Hindu is easy and it benefits more because your lungs expand better when coming up.

  • so which one is better? the hindu or the dive bomber??

  • What's better boxing or wrestling?

  • boxing

  • MMA

  • A gun.

  • Liposuction

  • Dang, this guy made those push-ups look easy!

  • Those push ups are not that hard if you practice.

  • Nothing is hard,,,if y have pratice it..heh

    but you are good Celcius..

    thx for sharing,,,

  • FIne neat & clean technique very well executed... full marks....

  • Thanks for your comments.

  • You are welcome!! The last one is especially the best

  • At 3:02 I tried it I think I can do it right but alot of pressure in my head all the blood rushes to my head thats normal right?

  • It's normal. Usually body adopts to it.

  • Don't try to exercise with this type of push ups unless you want you lower back destroyed...

  • First time I am hearing this.

  • not like ur twisting ur back 180 degrees aye?

  • not really. In the matter of the fack I think these moves are really good exercise for your lower back. you don't use it enough these days. that's why it sometimes hurts while doing something harder. try this! not anymore. I swear to god. you'll see results in cca 4 weeks. you'll be feeling as good as never!

  • starting from 3:02 its hard i tried it

  • Glad you gave it a try.

  • after going down, go back to your original postion the same way.

  • Interesting. I signed up to the forum just a minute ago. I'm hoping to see a lot of body weight exercises for the legs. That's where I need the most work.

  • Were you able to find them on the forum?

  • I've come across a couple that I haven't heard of, but I gotta take some more time to do some digging around. Plus, I gotta see if I can find them on youtube, so I know how to execute them properly.

  • very impressed, what are the physical benefits of the dive bombers?

  • Pushing strength in multiple directions, flexibility, etc.

  • This is Yoga........not pushups.

  • Ok, let it be Yoga.

  • ive seen them called pushups more than yoga, also a punch is a punch no matter wat the martial art, a pushup can still be called a pushup whether ur doing yoga or plyometrics, they just look different

  • Good Point.

  • try it yourself, then get back at us

  • It is a workout.....and any properly done workout is good for you.....

but this is yoga....plain and simple.

  • He Must Be Good. XD

  • Very inspiring thank you for posting - I've been doing hindu push-ups for years and just tried the deltoid variant with feet on the wall. THANK YOU! its brilliant...

posted one of my bodywork-dynamics vids - could be good after practice

  • very impressive! we do the normal hindou push ups in martial class. nice to learn some good variations. thanks a lot!

  • Really amazing looking! Some parts look like salute to the sun from hatha flow yoga. Really intense.

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • Ive been looking for a new push up workout and will this get me to a point of very good strength? average push ups dont really do it for me now

  • It will do more then average push ups.

  • how will it do more than average push ups??

average push ups work on your pectoralis major, triceps, and some parts of your back idk how this benefits u

  • hmm ok im just trying to get more up there when it comes to working out and just when i try something new that seems to work i get no results :(

  • It takes a while to get results. How long have you been doing it for?

  • depends which workout your talking bout. Ive been workin out for like 4 years going from one workout to another and just when i seem to get results i stop and then it seems i have to switch to another workout

  • but thanks for the good video and im going to add these into my workout for sure

  • Let us know how it works out for you.

  • will do

  • I wanna see how he gets down from that second pushup position.

  • What do you mean, "Gets down"?

  • its easy.. you pull your feet in

  • this exercise is better than just to use for someone who trains as home, its is also a great joint mobility movement meaning your tendons and ligementss get a night workout, when you train at your average gym and if you use heavy weights and machines and benches for support you will reply on prodomently on your muscles. Adding this to your workout will improvement mobility, agility and overall strength.

  • Thanks for your comment, Poeticparkour.

  • No worries, I have worked as a fitness instructor and a personal trainer and one of the key elements I looked at when I was training athletes educate and look at stretching, joint mobility and agility as part of most of long term training objectives. I'm just under 200lbs with 11% body fat but to make sure my body is going to last I work, muscle, joint and my cardiovasular system. Most of training is based on the principle of intergrated training and natural method training.

  • this is the best video demonstration of the difference between Hindus and Divebombers I've seen so far.

  • Thank you for your comments.

  • cool...how did it take before you could do this with comfort?

  • The person demonstrating this is Paul Zaichik. You can ask on his forum PaulZaichik (.) com or visit his site ElasticSteel (.) com

  • Love using this in bed too.

  • Yeah?

Can you do this for half an hour straight?

  • haha, Chill pal. But to take you seriously, no. I wouldn't want to do any single exercise for 30 minutes straight. Variety is the spice of life to me. /shrugs That's just me.

  • You claimed to use this in bed, so I asked.

  • Sex should never last that long =).

  • I have a question. I do not want to do the cardio workouts like running or jumping rope. Instead I want to solely depend on vigorously doing functional body-weight exercises. Can i reduce bodyfat in that way ?

  • Yes, you can.

  • ofcourse, but you can always do alternative methods of cardio, I do martial arts, as my main form of cardio, i still run 3 days a week for about 10 minutes, this is mainly because im conditoning for sport, and stamina is a must, but if you're just trying to reduce body fat, things like martial arts, or gymnastics, are easier, more entertaining forms of cardio

  • Oblivinator, I agree with ur last sentence, though I think this a great workout for people who have limited space or don't have time or money for a gym membership and who are simply looking to get in shape for everyday life.

  • awsome video, thanks.

  • Rainlacs,

    Thank you for your comment.

  • OMG! Look at his ***** hahaha stupid.

You are lame! You don't have a Wife so that is why you are like that!

  • Thank you for a very constructive and informative comment.

  • Nice sex moves, I bet your great in bed.

  • This topic never gets old.

  • I was actually wondering about the major differences between a dive bomber and a hindu pushup too. I've got a few thoughts on the subject but they're mostly confused and I'm not exactly sure.

  • Can I suggest you purchasing a book called

Power of One. It teaches multiple push ups variations, and unilateral Hindu and unilateral Dive Bomber. It also explains the differences from different points of view.

  • AIR SEX??? lolloll

  • Sh3pardMelody,

    You are uninitiated, ha?

  • Gravity Advantage Max. Do you recommend that for strength.

  • Definitely. Gravity Advantage Max book will improve your strength.

  • whats the diff between hindu and divebomber :p my bad man i just dnt c the diff?

  • hey bro can yo please upload a video on how to do a full planche pushups and easy ways to help train to execute one because their is only a few and it would help ~thanks steve
