  • Pięknie idzie ta pieśń ze mną całe życie Dziękuję ci Bob Dylanie , bądz pozdrowiony .

  • i was really scared to see that someone covered one of my favorite bob dylan songs, but beautifully done!

  • Great version but she should have said "mama" the way Dylan did. There's just no topping it!

  • when they need to have our atention, they allways plays Dylan.

  • she should do more Dylan

  • I love it when a great singer sings a great song. I'm sure brother Bob dug this one!

  • useless rendition. not bad but who cares? it's a copy not a cover!

  • @shanereel Iagree with you. A good play, but it is not different enough to call it a cover. If you want a true cover listen to "kiko veneno (memphis blues again)". Cool and different

  • w dylan

  • hermosa

  • great cover - very close to the original (though not sure if that's a compliment or not)

    - her voice is increddible of course

  • It IS a good cover and she sure looks better than Dylan. But whosays looks matter

    when youre a genius???

  • I love Cat when she is coherent-Has this been recorded?

    discuscusack

  • just awesome!!

  • OMG..this is almot like the origional.AWESOME!!!!

  • now THIS is a dylan cover. such a good voice

  • pat cower is ann a gram

  • @Wortnick you must not have listened to Blonde on Blonde very much because this song sounds pretty spot on to the original Dylan version and it's a good thing. Dylan's folk music is so overrated. His best three records were the three rock records.

  • @justinruns

I think you were doing well there until you said that Dylan's folk music is overrated, nice try.

  • I still don't think you can really compare it to Dylan. Bob Dylan never sounds so much like he's 'singing a song' like this girl does. Plus he doesn't have as much trumpet sections and fucking drum fills that make it sound like a song angling for a Gap ad.

  • @Wortnick easy fella.

your comment made me laugh (and i do have a problem with mark-ronson-esque-ad-friendly horns) but this is actually a pretty spot on cover -in my un-humble opinion- she gives it a bit more memphis with those horns etc. plus her laid back delivery feels kinda velvet-underground-cool.

    still enjoyed your comment though.

  • @baddancer73 This is "Memphis" sounding because it was actually recorded in Memphis..with "The Memphis Rhythm Band" I wish she would put that together again. My very favorite Cat Power period!

  • Bob Dylan es grande.... y con la voz de cat es maravillosa!

  • Love her vocal and phrasing.

The production and band arrangement feels a little perky and perfunctory.

  • This is perfect.

  • loved it, thank you so much for sharing!

  • Simply, a gorgeous version of a classic. It reminds me a bit of Kate Blanchet's success in her role at the film "I'm not there". By the way, I'm also a vet.

  • meow!!!

  • Cat turns me on .....

She does such a good rendition of this classic .

  • I smile and privately suspect this is one reason why Dylan's people have pulled his versions from YT ... that cat who hides in the alley likes to see what other artists do with his songs ... as he smiles at the ripples he made as he splashed into the 60's. My =^.^= just made your cats one of my favorites. Thanks! "It all seems so well timed", wow.

  • She is beautiful!

  • es bestial!! ni siquiera sabia que existia esta tia, conocia la cancion por Dylan, pero no la habia escuchado nunca en cover

    un diez!!

  • Now thats music!!

  • Excellent job on putting all these great photos together!

    LOVE this Dylan cover! Exquisite!

Yah, Chan is the cutest, most beautiful, and sexiest woman alive! And she has more talent than any gorgeous babe that ever lived.

Rock on, Chan! You're the BEST!

  • dosent she ? like cat???

  • finally a good cat power cover

  • It's good but definitely not better. Its strange that this is the version which is on the soundtrack to I'm not there, but there is no doubt that it is Dylan and not Cat who is performing the song in the movie. Actually as far as I have heard ALL songs are the originals, but I guess that the soundtrack featured covers :)

Must say that the covers are really really good, this one especially.

  • Bad ass cover of an amazing Dylan song!!!

  • what obscure album/lp/vinyl is this from? how can i find this recording?

  • I'm not there (Soundtrack), Disc One, Song No 6.

  • @turquoisebabies listen to the production on this track...does this sound like it could possibly come from an "obscure" release?

  • @philipsmog It's obviously available somewhere. And since it is rare (meaning that it is a song of hers that one would only come across if searching for non-album material, that = obscure. What does production have to do with anything? Her last 2 albums have excellent production and yet she has released rarities that were spawned from those 2 records with equally good "production". Obscure does NOT = poor production. I don't understand why you would even relate the 2.

  • @philipsmog It's not so obscure - from the Soundtrack album for 'I'm Not There' (though not in the actual film)- the Oscar-nominated Todd Haynes movie in which six different actors (including Cate Blanchett) played Dylan.

  • @stephenmara10 that was exactly my point, you must not have read the comment at which mine was aimed.

  • nice cover

  • damn shes good !.

    who is she?

  • cat power

  • a great cover of one of my favorite dylan tunes

  • Fantastic slideshow!

  • holy crap she sounds so much like dylan.

  • @folkdear ahah, you can't compare her to dylan, and I think that you're mistaken

  • Great video, with a awsome music and really good pictures :D
