  • What a cute idea for a history show!

  • Very nice job.

  • id like to see what a couple guys with some M4s and M24s coulda done back then...

  • @0122358 read the novel "guns of the south" where a group of south africans go back in time and give general lee ak47's

  • those are some fat union soldiers

  • FARBS!!

  • is the united state the only nation that re-enacts the most blood war in their history? I mean I love the historical study and the play of it, but these were all americans that died!

  • @RavenBlaze nope,Germany has Austro-Prussian war reeanctments

  • @londonsunao interesting!

  • @RavenBlaze Why would another country re-enact it?

  • @grobo11 "...most blood war in their history?" key word here is "their" as in events from a countries OWN history. I did not ask if other countries re-enact the american civil war, but if other countries re-enact historical wars from their own countries.

  • @RavenBlaze Don't school me on English boy, it's a youtube comment not a spelling Bee, or whatever you Americans have. And sure yeah, in Engladn people re-enact Both the first and Second English civil wars.

  • @grobo11 hey chill, I just thought you miss-read what I wrote and want to clarify, I didn't mean anything snobby by it.

  • @RavenBlaze That's alright I was only joking. Just out of curiosity. If you were in the Americans civil war which side would you choose?

  • @grobo11 just like my ancestor that was in the Ohio 9th Infantry I would be on the Union side, the people seeking to keep the country together (which is what many average citizens in the north wanted) and free the slaves (which is my own reason).

  • @RavenBlaze Nice. I chose the side of my ancsetors also (Confederacy). Although they lost they fought for independence against the states and sought a sovereignty from them. Slavery wasn't actually a main factor in the civil war and if the South had won they would have eventually in the next year or so abolished it as only 4% of Southeners owned slaves and it could have prevented the KKK.

  • @grobo11 //See confederate speeches:particularly cornerstone speech of confed vp stephens:"Its ALL about slavery"

  • @grobo11 BS. The South had no such plans that didn't involve succession. And, the KKK was originally formed to eradicate Catholicism in the Southern states. Nice try with the bitter-root BS though. That's one thing borderers like you are always good for, right?

  • History Bill makes my nuts bleed

  • Good Lord, those are the fattest Federals I've ever seen...disgraceful, just disgraceful.

  • I liked the Tack mashed and made into small cakes in pork fat. Best way to eat it for me.

  • yumm bein a civil war re-enactor I've grown to love hard tack and salt pork mmmmmm cant wait for this weekend haha

  • I hope kids apprecieate it. You made much work for those videos to look good

  • Just don't interview them at the same time. War would soon result! LOL

  • "This is actually a British weapon imported from Great Brittain.."

  • ya most of the wepons are imported from the england to support the south

  • except the spring field and harpers ferry and several others. But the 1853 enfield was british.

  • This is great, so enthusiastic.

I just made my first batch of hard tack, it's still cooling, I wonder what it's like?

  • NO it doesent. It tastes good to me. Just cook it in coffee!

  • it can last 4 20 years or more

  • There's a difference between "last" and "remain edible".
