We've got 2 Russians on the Flyers now in Sergei Bobrovsky and Nikolay Zherdev, but it took us a long time to get them because of this attitude, which one could say set us back some. You look at the 72 series and that slash. It was dirty as hell, but it wasn't a hockey game, it was a war! I can't say I like the play, but Clarke did what his coaches asked him to. He hadn't had a long career before then, and that's a hell of a thing to do to put your team ahead of your personal reputation.
