It was a pretty good show. Not amazing...but good. I dont think the casino floor dj thing actaully lasted more than a few hours but it was hillarious to see...and participate... with the entertaining dj's switching it up every 5-6 songs. Definately need to be a little more organized next time.

@Franzcabr3ra That depends. It's rarely "perfect:" Over a long period any mix will eventually go out, but you can hold it together long enough to mix for a couple minutes or more no problem. For some people it comes quickly; for others it can take a month or longer. Try the "Correct" and "Adjust" approach. For example, if the record is too fast, "Correct" the pitch control down, then "Adjust" the record to check. Repeat until you are satisfied.

@Franzcabr3ra @Franzcabr3ra it depends on the individual and your ability to concentrate your hearing on the kick drum etc and block out all the other things going on around you some pick it within days others take months...

@Franzcabr3ra when you start playing in clubs its like learning all over again because the acoustics are different in every venue meaning you will get varying amount of delay from the main PA system which can throw your timing out and make it difficult to find your downbeat, plus you can hardly hear your headphones..... . it took Pete Tong around 20 years and the invention of Ableton Live to get it right ;-)
