I believe that in the future wars will generally become a lot more humane, and nothing like the things in the video will happen. Even now, wars are a much more tamed matter than it was during the time of the Romans, Crusaders, Mongols or the Nazis. Hopefully this trend continues, and probably will do so.

Nawh, it's going to be the same old, same old as always. Empires crumble, powerful leaders gain popularity and make new ones. Different values will flourish, and many oppressed. Rememebr, the Nazis was a reactionary movement against the laidback democracy that ahd swept through Europe, and we see the same thing in the history of this show. A dictaroship was created around a charismatic leader who fough the decadence and corruption of the goverment. It's all same old, same old.
