Is 400fps good for an assualt rifle?

it all depends on limits most outdoor airsoft areas have a limit of 400fps and indoor its 330 but thats going off of airsoft pacific basic rules it might be different where you live

Its perfect..in fact it might be a little too much, most fields have a limit of 400fps.

For CQB it is way too much
