Traditionalists don't dispute the validity of the Novus Ordo (assuming that the proper matter, form, and intent are in place). What we dispute is its BANALITY and the implicit doctrinal distortions in it - even if done entirely according to the rubrics.
And keep in mind that Joseph Ratzinger himself - now Pope Benedict XVI - called the Novus Ordo "a fabrication, a banal on-the-spot commitee product." Google this:
Haha! Too cute. The Leher bit was great. The bit about Tommy cut a little to close, most of the confirmandi I teach could have played the part perfectly for you, at least before I get a hold of them.
Is this the same Stanford Nutting who was in the Jesuit novitiate with me in California in 1972? Wow, man, you have that same rockin' sweater that Sister Julie knitted for you? I'm now the director of liturgy at Land-o-Lakes Regional Parish. Good to reconnect.
Good stuff, and yes, the period table prayer was awesome--especially in the memorization ability department. Can I hear an A-people? A-humans? A-all inclusiveness!

Very funny. I think the "traditionalist" was a bit off, but I suppose the author had to appear to poke fun at everyone equally. Good stuff : )

No wonder Stanford's so nutty and nihilistic. The rest of his family is composed of a bunch of hardcore haters.
