You are naturally confused by the infinite overlays of the bagua. Take it lightly. Look to each area of your home - whether wealth, career, or benefactors, and do what you can to enhance its feeding energy. For example, wealth is a wood energy - add water. But add water so that it pours into the area, not out. If you add a painting of a sailing ship, it should be sailing INTO the harbor, not out, and NOT crashing on the rocks. If it's career, add water pouring into the area. Make sense?
. For example my room is career section of the entire house so I should put some water element. However If I do fengshui in my room only, I should put fire in the fame area.
