i have a copy of Lucifer - Madeth Gray'll cd and i don't want it but it's a waste to throw it away. Does anyone want to buy it? just message to offer a price if interested. i have feedbacks if you guys want to see them, and just message me for them :)
I'm very sad, that 90% of the new japanese music fans that are about 12 or 14 years old don't even know X Japan or Luna Sea. But I think that that's very important...knowing the origine of this music. Nevertheless, Madeth Gray'll were so good.
@LykayaMamato I wouldn't agree to that. Almost everyone knows X Japan and Luna Sea simply because they are pretty well known. Furthermore I don't see a reason why it is important to know the roots of VK?
B. There is no reason to respect a gerne (further more, VK is NOT a genre), but you can like a genre. To like it, you just need to know what it sounds like and nothing else.
Otherwise no other members are related to Schwardix or Hizaki. Although, Madeth was produced by Matina (Kisaki's label in 1999) which is now Undercode ^^.
forgot to mention, on top of the vocal difference, the guitar solo is also different -- IMO the solo in the Madeth original is much, much better (sorry Hizaki)
Ah this is great - one of my most favorite songs by Madeth! I had no idea that Schwardix covered it!! That's awesome! xD I'll have to find out where to buy/hear that!
@visualrocker69: I didn't hear it at first because I was listening to the beat in Freeze My Love in a different pattern, but if I think of the rhythm differently I can hear the similarity perfectly! Cool! :)
Fireshinobi, thanks for uploading and introducing them to others. Madeth gray'll is one of my top fav VK bands ever and one of their early maxis was the first VK CD I ever bought... going back to early 2000. I think I am the only foreigner to have ever seen them live on numerous occasions. I have all the CDs, the videos, promo et el and a complete run of every photo set they ever produced. Haven't bothered too much with the demo tapes though. Thanks again!!!
Then, do you have any live video of Tsuioku? Since you seem to have a lot of things as you say. Just asking cause well...I fucking love the song and I'd kill to see it live...(well, ok..no..I wouldn't kill but.....).
Classic song!

@MagicalGirlChise A. its alot better than the newer stuff and B. how can you truly respect a genre when u dont know how it began?

@CRACKR0CKS7EADY A. That's your opinion, not a fact.

@fireshinobi that's even more better :)

@LykayaMamato
I personally think that buck-tick was more important, but in the end, none of those bands really anything to do with madet gray'll
Assimandelini 6 months ago
@Assimandelini Yap, surely too. But in my opinion Luna Sea and mostly X Japan were as important as Buck-Tick =)

Schwardix Marvally and Madeth Gray'll
is the same singer ^^'
and this version is Schwardix version.

rofl I understand very well ^^
I do that from time to time too XD

this is the Madeth version, actually. There's a big difference in Hisui's voice (lol puberty etc).
and yea, Airi was in Schwardix. He's now retired from music, just like Yukina (Madeth bassist).
