Test your favorite HHO machine if effective or NOT. Park the car, start engine to normal temperature, run to 1500 rpm and hold it there by using tools or wedges. Turn ON your HHO machine. Check the RPM goes up to 1600 or more, it is GOOD. If RPM goes down or the same, your HHO machine is ineffective, useless, and waste of time, effort and money. Any seller will pass this test, BUY their HHO machine. (Forget the driving around wasting more gas, or read On Board Computer Instant MPG).
Great job. Keep up the inspirational work!! Installing my first fuel-heater next week. '93 Ford Escort GT (1.8 Mazda Engine) 45 MPG so far, WITHOUT HHO or fuel heater. trying for 60-70 MPG. Stay tuned lol.
I love the ''zero fossil fuel'' constant current design. i just made one for my '88 festiva. mileage tests are next, im hoping way past 50 mpg's. buts its all about how you tune in the system. your's is simple and looks great!
hello..in the third block of your explanation...you mean .."i am now saving money.." am i right .? ..also ..how many miles you reach per liter of water....what kind of water are u using..and finally to get 21 amps without a problem : did u change your alternator. Thanks and keep getting results ! the only point that looks not so practical is to have the system in the back seat..?..any way...congrats for the numbers

just wondering if changing the spark plugs to a higher quality plug would help the fuel burn and give you more mpg or does it not matter since you are adding the extra gas
you need to buy a rear seat delete of american muscle or ebay to accomidate your cell. and taking out the seats is decreasing weight, and could help out your gas mileage.
Nice set up! I'm in the process of building my own cell as well.
Your math is a bit off for your % increase in mileage though. (43-29)/43= .325 or in other words 32.5% increase in mileage. That's still pretty good. It's what i hope to get when i have everything completed on my car. =)
@shapedcolors if you have two apples and add one, you get an increase of 50%. You want to know the increase in percentage of the previous MPG, not of the final MPG. His previous MPG was 32,5% lower than the final MPG, but his previous MPG was 32,5% lower than the final MPG.
@shapedcolors if you had two apples and added one, you get an increase in apples of 50%. You want to know the increase in percentage of the previous MPG, not of the final MPG. His final MPG was 53% higher than the previous MPG, but his previous MPG was 32,5% lower than the final MPG.
I aint your momma so I aint gonna say nuthin about my concerns about having that thing in the back seat ... am sure you are very much aware of the related issues ...
your mileage gains are impressive ... any chance we can twist your arm and get you to have a few dyno runs done with/without the system engaged ??? would be nice to be able to add your results with others we are accumulating ...
I under stand all of the concerns about the consequences of a back flash but when was the last time you modern fuel injected vehicle back fired. I have experienced my share of back flashes playing with my HHO torch and I do have a healthy respect for it's power. As for the Dyno runs, I would be happy to put my vehicle on a dyno for some numbers if some one else come up with the money for it. I am unemployed and living with Crohns so there is little to no money in my future.
I have been driving the car for about a month now with the HHO running and have had no problems. As I learn how to tune the system the MPG has steadily risen. Keep in mind that this car is a 89 and the computer is pretty dumb. No OBD 1 or 2.
Keep us in the loop if you milage stays the same ,I will be doing my S-10 soon.Did you look at your plugs before and after, that would be interesting,I think you should put a little wall up for protection ,Hey can I borrow the car I am going on vaction on the 4 th.
I will keep you posted on the miles per gallons over time. I cleaned my pugs a couple of weeks before I installed the HHO system but have not check them lately. I have been meaning to check them. I might post a quick video on the pugs' condition. I'm not to worried a bout a flash back happening but if it did I'm sure I will be deaf for a week. The bubbler has a pressure release cap in case of a flash back.
And you are still using the fuel heater, correct? Did the emissions station test for NOx as well? Your fuel economy increase is phenomenal. Please continue to keep us posted.
Man you know how may times my friend have said the same thing. I cover it all up when I go out so as not to attract attention because it does attract attention. I don't know about the clove box, I don't like to do any thing small.
I made and installed this cell myself. It would have been cheaper to just buy one but my design is better than any thing that I could buy. Besides, it's fun to building and experimenting with HHO cells.
Hey but what do you need to make it work? Just water?

Can this be run just on the hydrogen and no petrol?? If so how much would be needed, especially if your already at 2ltr

It may pass emissions, but does it pass D.O.T. regulations?
Have you noticed any additional power in the car?
Does a 2ltr per minute mpg performance decrease with the increase of speed?
(If you drive 65 on the freeway and get 43mpg, does this change by driving 85mph?)

Why it call Dry Cell it still uses water. And it looks HUGE it this think safe???
d571757 2 years ago
@d571757
It's called a "dry cell" because the cell's not flooded with water.

This is how I calculate % of increase.
28-43 MPG= 15......15/28 = 0.5357 x 100 = 53.57%
According to all the Java Calculator I have found, they all come up with the same numbers.

Looks like i was finding the %age decrease instead of increase. Sorry :3
