I didn't think these guys were more likable, maybe just the main guy because they brought it back to the original "guy gets visions" thing from FD1. The most likable character was definitely Kevin in FD3, or Carter from the first.

Nope. In FD 1 and 2, the two main characters are still alive by the movie's end, same with the two main characters in FD2. Final Destination 3 and 4 are the only films where you may or may not see EVERY survivor get killed off.

Rawk is absolutely correct, all 4 get their due by the next movies end. While Alex got hit by a brick before FD2 (Off screen), Clear got blown away by the explosion in FD2. Officer Burke and Kim were killed by a wood chipper when Evan Lewis's Trans AM crashes through a home improvement store. Or at least that's what the FD3's DVD said.

Well from what I heard, David Ellis wanted Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) and Officer Burke (Michael Landes) to actually be in FD3 but Cook and Landes couldn't work out with the schedule. They were actually supposed to be killed in the subway accident with Wendy, Kevin, and Julie...Probably would've been pretty cool.

Evan got his eye knocked out. His Trans-Am was ok. And odds are he had absolutely nothing to do with the 180 survivors. Like Nora and Tim. Both of them died before the conversation in the SUV too...

Not really, remember the Trans-Am was never destroyed, so I'm thinking after he died the car went up for sale. There wasn't enough characters in the first one that died that everyone could relate a near death experience with.

If you rent the DVD of FD3 and watch it using the "Choose their Fate" option, there's an alternate ending scene where Wendy's second premonition is a reality and the final 3 survivors end up dying afterall.

I honestly think that this one is going to suck. In the 3rd, it was all about the deaths. There was no backstory on the characters like there was in the 1st and 2nd, and the fact that you don't know WHO's going to die doesn't change it. I think the only plus-side to this is the fact that it's going to be in 3D.

In the trailer though, the deaths look ridiculous. Even more than they're suppose to. A lawnmower hits a rock and it goes through one character's head? Come on, now.
