Warren Buffet got his first job in investment by taking the day off work/uni to take the train to the city and waited outsite the bank for the chairman. When he arrived he got passed security and to his office to talk to him. They then spent the entire day chatting about finance and he was offered a job later that day. He's now the richest man in the world. Sometimes being different helps.
