eagles fan - real happy with the acquistion of samuels. he is easily one of the most talented cb's in the league. whether or not we hold onto lito or not, I personally am happy with the free agency aggresiveness. If Lito goes, look for us to give up Lito and our 1st round pick for Larry Fitzgerald. I love the birds and I love off season/free agency aggressiveness. 8-8 last year and its time for the birds to make another solid run like 04-05. whatever you do, please dont sleep on brian westbrook!

i really don't like this move. for one, now you have 3 starting corners, who are all making pro bowl money. By making this deal, you are assuming lito will be hurt for most of next season, and your taking care of getting a starter to replces him. In my opinion Samuel is not worth $10 mil. Besides, you still need to adress the future at both safeties and at OT. You now have minimal cap room to pursue any other FA's or rookies.

Justin Fargas contract is really 3 years 6 mil with another 6 mil in incentives. and then Nnamdi's Tag is still pending on Samuels deal. So the Raiders arent really in cap trouble.
