there are opinions that bala being older and a film actor will cheat on her & she is too gullible & amritha's mom is foolish and greedy... having said all that, i saw amritha saying in an interview that she told about her love for bala to mata amrithanandamayee & She approves of their relationship. thats where i draw the line & zip up. though odd, this match seems to have been made in heaven. all the best to them...

i am not surprised to see mixed views here.....i personally found this shocking primarily because she's a kid and he is a (looks like he will forever remain) a 3rd grade flop tamil actor. funny thing abt bala is they call him a tamil actor in kerala and a malayalam actor in tamil nadu...neither side wants to claim him..they want to disown him (quite the contrary of a kamal hassan)...but all that can change with 1 hit film...& as far as economic status goes, amritha's family is filthy rich newayz
