The reason Scientology is against Psychiatry is because the Psychiatric community denied L. Ron Hubbards book, Dianetics, as being a viable means of psycho therapy. After tthat L. Also, you should know that scientology isn't even recognized as a religion everywhere. In the UK for example, it is considered a known cult and isn't granted religious freedoms. I think the Scientologists are whack, but I think they've got a few points about the psychiatry industry. I don't think it's as bad as they make it out to be, but it's got its share of problems.

@OneEyedJack1970 Fuck yeah it does. Just look at the fact that a certain amount of people who take prozac report having suicidal thoughts and it's given to kids.

You're probably putting the cart before the horse there, prooc. Do they get suicidal after taking prozac or are they prescribed prozac because they are suicidal.

@BoozyBeggar No the get suicidal because of it. I took it when I was 13 and it fucked me up so bad, I had to change schools and it almost made me crazy. And a lot of psychiatric drugs don't even work either by way.

I have no idea what the medical community has to say on prozac, and don't care. All I'm saying is you're not looking at it rationally, you're looking at it superstitiously,
