  • Michael C. Hall is one of the greatest actors of our time. That was some of the best acting I have ever witnessed, you really feel like you are right there with the man during the act. :)

  • do you think every time Dexter pops out at his targets he hears in his head "surprise motherfucker"?

  • @mygeneration01 I would lol

  • Jimmy Smits was amazing in this season.

  • "Friends forgive"

He's thinking of a way to kill Dexter ASAP if he gets out of this.

  • Excellent episode. Miguel got dead when he thought he could be better at death than Dex. This was the best kill episode yet. Great acting!! I especially loved the greeting at LaGuerta's door. Miguel meets "the needle". LOL! Poor Dex, no friends again.

  • Thanks for uploading this, I missed this one episode, and I knew this scene would be epic! :D

  • is it sad when miguel now for his brother at : 4:39

  • miguel is a killer and he want kill dexter but is it sad when dexter kill him and when miguel now for his brother

  • Season 1 was great, season 2 was amazing, season 3 was BRILLIANT, and season 4 was PERFECTION.

  • @lamorale and season 5 is ok so far

  • "you're a little freak! you think I'm done with you?! You think this ends here, well it doesn't!!!

    "it does for you"

    great fucking scene!

  • "I killed my brother. I killed yours too."

Damn, Dexter, that's cold. XD, but I love it.

  • "I know I'm a monster".

  • Has Michael C. Hall had trouble keeping himself together as Dexter? He's done a better job maintaining his composure than Heath Ledger (R.I.P)

  • @worldends08 Heath Ledger only had troubles sleeping, that's the deal, he couldn't

  • Can someone tell me what dexter exactly does? Does he only kill murderors?

  • @UltraAnimaniac101 Yes, but in the last season, he ACCIDENTALLY killed an innocent man.

  • miguel opens the door bam gets merked by a needle

  • the final is brilliant

  • I love it when Dexter brings out the garrotte :P I like the strangling kills...

  • 4:02 shut up bitch...

  • lol Imagine if George Lopez was Miguel :p

  • "Non non non non non non ! Je sais que je suis un monstre"

  • @Legion996 He's a very neat monster

  • One of the most kick-ass scenes of the 3rd Season. Amazing.

"Adios, amigo" - and this creepy music - truly a masterpiece work.

  • One of the best scenes ever. The Dialoge between Miguel and Dexter... just epic.

  • haha

    "I'm like you"

'*smack to the forehead* no. no no no no no no.'

    It's like he's punishing a puppy.

  • Prado: 'I accept you, Dexter, like a brother'

    Dexter: 'I killed my brother'

    XD XD

  • @bommie5 SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER!

  • @bommie5 "i killed your brother too."

    "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!!!!!!" LOL

  • what's the song that comes in at about 2:35 i haven't heard it in any other episodes. it almost sounds like something out of Fallout 3.

  • although i think out of all of the seasons, season 3 was the weakest. i still think this is the coolest and most graphic kill :) haha

  • damn i didnt notice he cried

  • migeul kill was the best kill in my opinion because of the excellent dialogue between dexter and miguel

  • Between this and the other three major kills Dexter perfoprms (Ice Truck Killer, Lila, Trinity), I`d have to say that the Trinity kill is my favorite. Miguel is the runner-up though. Has anyone else noticed how the kills get more and more interesting with each season?

  • The problem with Miguel was he was using dexter so its hard to buy anything he's saying when he's on the table.

  • Miguel: an unstable corrupt coldblodded killer.

Dexter: a mastermind and bringer of justice

    God i love this show.

  • Just my opinion, but I think you should think about changing the title. That's a HUGE spoiler to anyone who hasn't gotten to this episode yet.

  • he almost kills trinty if trinitys wife and daughter didnt barge already rudly

  • I have a strange feeling Trinity is going to get away somehow

  • Maybe because the final episode of season 4 is called 'The Getaway'?

  • @dje81

You did did you? Oh well ...

  • @dje81 he does in a way. Dexter almost does him a great kindness...which he shouldn't have.

  • trinity is going to get it good and all ill be able to do is smile

  • I bet the way he will finish off trinity will top this scene.

  • adios amigo!

  • lmao i love the slap at 4:03

    "I'm like you "

    *slap*

  • I dont know why but that little song at the end of this vid suited well with dexter saying "adios amigo" i laughed a bit when he said that lol

  • damn miguel had what was coming to him

  • if this scene were to b compared to another, so-called 'intense' scene. I'd say the death of Brian(aka Rudy)(aka Dexters brother). This scene is nothing compared 2 that one.

  • brians death was more epic though, miguel was a douche

  • Jimmy Smitts was robbed of the Emmy this year!

  • this was soooo sad. I loved Miguel, but he was a bad guy. :( season 3 was my fave by far!

  • man...those two are POWERHOUSE actors. This show is so much fun to watch

  • damn he killed jimmy smiths

  • fuck you daijme if you didnt want it spoiled for you, you shouldnt have clicked on the damn link you dumbass so you have no one to blame but yourself.

  • wow... if you didn't want spoilers, you shouldn't have clicked on this link

  • Hilarious scene ty

  • Dexter does not strip his victims down naked for pleasure of power, but for easier clean up and to get rid of evidence. Also I agree he is "sick" as does Dexter himself "I know I'm a monster" he is a sociopath because he witnessed his mother getting murdered to death by chainsaws, that has to have an impact. Thus he feels the need to kill, he could kill anything he wants to but he has learned and been taught to control or rather "aim" his needs towards those who deserve it.

  • Therefore making him everyone's favorite serial killer :)

  • actually he was learned to kill those who deserve it so he wouldent be like anyother serial killer so he wouldent go insane and get caught in the end

  • I would think a person would be genetically predisposed toward being a sociopath, but I guess for him and his bro, witnessing trauma exacerbated it and made them want to be serial killers.

  • Mo Murda! Dexter is gangsta!

  • Why does everyone put down thumps when someone says Dexter is the sick asshole?

i mean Dexter has a good side but that dosen't mean he's a good human, he is evil and sick because of what he does and he can't stop doing it, it dosen't mean he's not good.

  • Its really a point of view. Soldiers for examples are killers yet you can publicly support them. This can go for butchers, hunters, police officers, etc.. Its a point of view question as to who you consider "good" and "bad" for killing.

  • Germanic,

Soldiers kill for various reasons. Whether they believe they're doing the right thing, feel they have no choice, or simply blindly support their country, I don't believe the majority of them enjoy it. Though, I don't doubt some are sick enough to. Dexter likes it. That's sick. And while he kills "bad guys" I think it's safe to assume he has urges to kill others. That's sick, too. Plus, Dexter tortures a lot of them to death. That's sick & if a soldier did the same, I'd say the same

  • Well some of these reasons fill in the gap with Dexter very well. Dexter feels he's doing the right thing by killing murderers, he feels he has no choice but to kill, and he supports the code. Many soldiers go into war with the excitement of wanting to kill (after all it is voluntary) yet many end up liking to kill and with serious emotional and psychological problems since the military for the most part does not study the ramifications of killing or teaches soldiers how to deal with it.

  • I'll need more than one post to respond to this. While I feel what you're saying is a good argument, I still disagree with the idea that Dexter might not be sick.

    1. He's sociopathic- or darn close. I know most sociopaths aren't serial killers & they can't help that they're sociopaths, but I do think of it as a sickness. Empathy, remorse, impulse control- even fear- are evolutionarily or creatively designed into us- these things are often important for individual & societal survival.

  • 2. Saying he's without choice is arguabley untrue, but perhaps somewhat accurate. In war, it's often kill or be killed. This isn't the case here. Yet, if someone lacks empathy, remorse, etc. & has a muted fear of the consequences, is chronically bored (not feeling as alive), with a drive to kill, what are the chances they won't act on that drive? I'd say small. He can't help that he's sociopathic, but he could prevent himself from killing even with low impulse control if he decided to (cont.)

  • 2. (cont.) He could turn himself in. At some point in the series, he even considers it. If he turned himself in, he could be executed, but there are ways around that. Some countries wouldn't return him to the U.S. without a promise he wouldn't get the death sentence. Plus, couldn't he have originally turned himself in before he killed? Told someone he had urges? He'd never have been executed over desire. He could even go somewhere far away from people and live on some isolated piece of land.

  • 3. Let's assume he really doesn't feel he has any choice or at least no decent choice- the fact that he is sadistic enough to enjoy killing & wants to kill people & has such low impulse control he can't stop himself, that alone makes him sick.

    4. You say he thinks he's doing the right thing. He desires to kill- period- not just bad people (he's sick), but he controls that by getting his kicks with "bad guys". Furthermore, he sometimes tortures them to death & strips them naked. (cont.)

  • 4. (cont.) Even if you say it was important that these bad guys be taken out of society & the gene pool- even killed- torture & stripping them naked serves no purpose other than to satisfy Dexter's sick lust for power & suffering. As for punishing people, there's a point at which a punishment becomes severe & sick- & he likes it. Plus, the code, was never his idea. He really kills because he likes it, he kills "bad" folks because it's easier to justify, & maybe easier to get away with.

  • or maybe it's just a TV Show... :O

  • Nah...

  • 5. Being a soldier isn't always voluntary, depending on time, place & circumstance. Some prob. get excited about killing, but some volunteer because they feel it's the right thing & some do it for less noble reasons, but not all do it because they like it. Those that like it are sick- soldier or not. Some end up liking it, even brutalizing people, but some end up with psych probs. for other reasons such as facing death every day, watching comrades die, & moral delimmas over having killed others.

  • Very long response I must say. I definitely must agree Dexter can be considered mentally sick yet it was not what I argued. What I am going at is the act of doing which can be compared to the professions or hobbies I listed, not the why or how. When you kill, whether it be good, bad, ordered, or compulsive in the end it is killing. Most of society thinks selectively on its killing though. My example of soldiers was aimed at U.S soldiers of current time and as we've seen drafts can be dodged.

  • While I am not criticizing U.S soldiers for killing it is to be acknowledged that this is what their trained and expected to do. Anyone joining expecting otherwise is plainly denying or disillusioned of the fact. Recalling on the invasion of Iraq, the rules of engagement on certain days were shoot and kill anything that moves. While this is not the decision of the soldier, he or she is there on their own account therefore once they kill they are killers by definition regardless of the emotions.

  • Excellent summation

  • I had high hopes for Miguel. I didn't want it to end like this.

  • sorry i meant miguel brother. dexter brother was the biggest maniac in the series

  • The shrink was not an innocent man, he led those women into suicide. That was his way of killing, encouraging patients to commit suicide. With Miguel's brother was self defense, it was kill or be killed. Valerie was an accomplice of Jorge Castillo, she's not innocent. You should think about your definition of innocent.

  • youre an idiot

  • instead of killing him, Dexter should have shaved off Miguel's moustache. that would have been a crueler fate for a Mexican to suffer.

  • He's not Mexican.

  • @33hegemon Although, Miguel is Cuban.

  • @33hegemon He was Mexican. I thought he was Cuban?

  • @33hegemon Mexico's forbidden lands! AKA Cuba

  • @33hegemon hes cuban :-p lol

  • @33hegemon fuck you hes cuban u asshole and puerto rican in real life

  • @33hegemon I see what you did there.

  • @33hegemon Lol, that's funny, but it's even funnier to watch him die like the bastard he is. XDD

  • I love that, "Friends forgive..But i dont forgive you"

  • This scene is really touching.

They are great lines, I love how Miguel says :

    "Yooouu killed Oscarrrr ...."

    Haha, and also :

    - I'm like you ...

    - No ! *paf* no ... no no no ... I know I'm a monster.

  • "YOU LITTLE FREAK!!! YOU THINK I'M DONE WITH YOU!?! YOU THINK THIS ENDS HERE!?! IT DOESN'T!!!" Best line in this episdoe.

  • thats not really accurate to say when you are about to be killed you know....

  • its funny when dexter slap miguel forehead!!

  • ......

    *grits teeth and smiles*

    Bail...Organa...not Bale Ogana...

    :)

But unlucky, yes, for sure...he seems to die in every other role he plays...

  • Bale Ogana... unlucky son

  • Cool clip and I guess this is why Dexter can't have friends who know about the real him.

  • why does he kill miguel

  • he kills his rival Ellen Wolf, who was innocent

  • I liked miguel, until he turned backstabber

  • Great line... "But it always does..."

  • i take that back... the best line is

"I killed my brother... I killed yours too"

  • I loved that line too.

  • "It doesn't have to come to this"

    "But it always does"

    Brilliant writing and acting.

I also love the look on Miguels face when Dexter utters "I killed my brother". Pure despair as he realizes that nothing he says will help him.

  • Good riddance, He was just killing people whenever, without reason

  • miguel got owned

  • the ass got what was coming to him

  • awsome

  • thanks man.
