@the4thj Hey there, No piston updates. I took it to a mechanic as the bottom end had pieces in it. turns out a couple bearings were toast too so had him reassemble.
I only bought 1 new OEM piston for the rebuild. close to 2500km on the rebuilt engine and its still kicking.
@chaos2nyte yeah that was the first guess back a few years when the problem started, but it's gotta be something else since it's so consistent year to year.
@csteelerx1 Yep, Nate's got a helmet camera. My computer is too old to handle the native resolution of the helmet camera he has, and I can' t stand sorting through 4 hours of footage so I don't bother with it. Eventually I'll go that route but not until I upgrade my PC.
