  • I've seen her dance before...and I didn't like this one...the choreography did not connect with the song...it seemed like the song needed more than balet to it...it needed better choreography.

  • where can i find a costume like this?

  • i thought she was a contemperary dancer!!! that was awesome!!!! :)

  • She's not dancing no, she's not in a TV show, she's a spanish woman in another time...

    Amazing!

  • did this routine win anything?

  • she's 15 in here? oh my.

i love everything about this perform. even her hands, they are flawless! i love her smile too! and dance...everything!!

  • It's NOT bolero

  • ta mais pra flamenco do que bolero uahsua, mas é liindo, perfeito :D

  • What type of dance is?

  • does anyone know the name of the music she used ?

  • @natueay Asturias by Isaaz Albeniz

  • i love her!! she is sucj a beautiful dancer! makes me miss dancing so much!

  • The music is Suite Española from Albéniz.

  • i absolutely love her hands!

  • i totally agree! she dances with each inch of her body. she's amazing. and she FEEL the music. i also agree with jannep1980 - she has some moves and motifs that appear in almost all of her performs but...i don't care, i love her! :)

  • Good grief. . . for the record, earlier, I simply pointed out that I wish this lovely lady would be pushed to do more than the same motifs and tricks that she seems to flaunt in every dance she's in on youtube, including her successful stint on SYTYCD. I never said she wasn't a good dancer, but I did point out that she is very one-sided, which is a real disservice to her talent and longevity in this field. I am a dancer, which, apparently, gives me the right to an opinion.

  • i totally agree 100%

  • Can't we all just get along?!

  • Not not getting along. . . simply stating an opinion and observation and getting screamed at for it.

  • @etakily

you sound like the imp pet in world of warcraft:)

    but you're right

  • sooooooooo nice

  • what is this song callled? god i wish i was her!

  • shes definitely a better dancer than you are. stop judgingg. once you can do PERFECT turns, arabesques, and kicks on both sides without trouble, then you can start judgingg.

she is a truely amazing dancer and you should stop judging her because she is obviously outstandingg.

  • FYI - she's not perfect, either; she slips in this very video. As a dance critic, it's my job to - CRITIQUE; I never said she wasn't good. Obviously, she is. I merely pointed out that she is so clearly one-sided, and at her age of what - 18, 19 - she is in a position to stop being a "studio" dancer and become a real pro. There is no excuse for her to only doing jumps/positions/turns on one side. I'd love to see her expand her capabilities. It would make her better than she already is.

  • you sir, (or maam) are positively an idiot... dance is an art form and not meant to be perfect...

  • and btw... she's 15 in this video.

  • My point EXACTLY, LadenLily. . . she's now 18 or 19 and dances EXACTLY as she did when she was - as you've pointed out - 15. 3 or 4 years later, her teachers and choreographers should be pushing her to improve her other side to 1. make her better than she already is and 2. attempt to prevent injury due to overworking bones, muscles, and joints. I'm not an idiot; I am right, and I, too, am a dancer. And Choreographer. And Teacher.

  • oh an FYI to you i wasn't even replying to you in the first place... i was just saying that in general... you must love to argue

  • agree completely thank you... thanks what i was trying to say... can't argue with idiots...

  • why must you people be so judgmental??? she is a very entrancing dancer with beautiful hands, feet and extensions. and her musicality is amazing. quit being a hater and enjoy dancing for what it is... moving poetry.

  • Not hating. . . simply expecting more from someone who is "so talented." That's what good choreographers do; they push and ask for more. NOT TO MENTION, she is MORE likely to run into injury because she is so much stronger on one side than the other. Dance is not just moving poetry; it's a real task and tough on the body.

  • do you dance??? i do and i can tell you she is great... i never said she was perfect as no human being can be... it's the imperfections that make it beautiful. dance is moving poetry... every move represents a word, a feeling..the point i was making was that it doesn't have to be perfect... the bottom line is it is beautiful. i was merely pointing out that fact... i know dance is a real task and tough on the body because i DO dance.

  • she has beautiful hands and feet ...i'm totally entranced by them

  • haha yeah i thought she was falling when i first saw that!

  • can't stop watching this!

  • Jeanine is amazing. xoStephy :P

  • FIERCE

  • it was excellent but the choreo didn't fit the urgency or intesity of the song. she's not very intense to me...but she's an amazing dancer.

  • Jeanine Mason is so amazing :) Ah I wish I could be that good at 15! I started dance soooo late lol

  • at least you started :-) I'm 32 and still contemplating starting :-) I think I will next month.

  • pra que dançar desse jeito ela arrebentaaa

  • Absolute perfection. One minor slip...but that was still perfect, lines were full. I'm defo happy I'm a fan of hers.

  • it says shes 15 :)

  • You are beautiful

  • That dance was just as lovely as the dancer.

  • Fabulous hands! Absolutely fabulous!

  • she dances from her toe to her finger tips. She uses her whole body. LOVE HER!!!!!

  • wow, she has come so far since the age of 15!

  • did she mess up right around 1:04? when shes turning right around

  • Yes.

  • theres no way shes 15 :O

  • she's 18 now.

  • holy cow!! 15 ?? i'm 15 and i thought she danced like she was way older and more experienced. She's amazing. What did she get for her solo?

  • technique?check

    attitude?check

a gift that only come around once in like forever? a yah she has that to.

her and blake mcgrath are liek the two people ive seen that have something that connot be taught. its like they have there own style within whatever style there dancing

  • it's called passion :)

  • She's a tank. I love her attitude (I meant her emotion, but her attitude position is also pretty insane), and I love her strength.

  • Can we all please take a moment for 2:19.

  • I agree, that's amazing!

  • Jeez, I wasn't even hitting solid triple pirouettes at 15. Incredible for her age!

  • I'd like to see half the people try to do as good as she did in this video at 15. the choreography may not have been the best but did anyone see those jumps?

  • she wonn woo whoo

  • who ever this is she was 15 when she performed this read the description ok

now she is 18 and such a better dancer go look at the videos she has at her age right now and you will see a big difference im sorry she is my friend im not gonna let people sit here and talk crap about her!!!!

  • She was 15! Give her a break....

And personally i thought she totally deserved to win! Go Jeanine!

  • jeez...its called slipping! like you have never done it at comp! i know i have and theres nothing wrong with that! i always thought those floors were bad xD haha...anyway..just thought id point out that it's the title of America's FAVORITE dancer..not BEST dancer and clearly Jeanine was more popular... i <3 her!!!! so happy she won =D

  • you make it sound as though ´´being full´´ of your self is a bad thing...it isn't and you probably won't understand it. He was technically better but hey your right this isn't Julliard.

  • Umm hello i dont understand bc ima dancer 2 and i never let it get to my head wenever he heard the judges comments he would act surprised, dont. Just take it and go. And "being full" of yourself clouds ur dancing. And ya it isnt Julliard, he probably wouldnt have made it there

  • She's 15. No one is perfect.

  • I AGREE!

  • ohh whatever.

jeanine is so much more unique. i mean dont get me wrong, brandon's AMAZING too but seriously jeanine always had such interesting solos with musicality, personality, tricks AND actual dancing. brandon was mainly tricks. and with jeanine you can just see the passion and love for what she's doing. she is amazing.

  • Brandon: Technically, not better. Stronger, no not really.. More over the top/spazzy? Yes. And as far as girls go, she is incredibly strong. Far stronger for a girl than he is for a guy. And she was 15 in THIS video and still could have outdanced him if you put this up against any of his performances. But we praise him because he's a guy and he dances and he "isn't that confident in himsewff" =( . Tough shit. Tons of guys dance nowadays. Jeanine Mason is a beast and should be treated as such.

  • She deserved winning SYTYCD !

  • yay she wonnnn!!!!

  • i love the spanish influence in some of her pieces. and she is able to pull it off cause she puts so much great emotion in her routines.

  • dang, she was good at such a young age!

  • She's good here but amazing now. I love how she has improved.

  • she is amazing... i dont normally like watching solos but she totally captivates your attention

  • ggreat combo of flamenco and contemporary

  • SHE IS GOING TO WIN!

  • Did she trip at 1:01? It looked like she did, but she covered it well I think...

  • It looked more like her feet slid a little on the momentum of the move, but she did brush it off and keep going. That's the only bobble I saw in a 3 minute routine. The rest is exquisite. She was 16 here? I don't see the choreo credited here. I doubt she did it herself, but it's possible. No matter, because she gave it life.

  • She's 15 here. As shown in 'info' section under uploader's username.

  • yes she did.

  • I think she just slid a little. Good cover. It didn't show on her face.

  • wow!! her precision is phenominal! and that choreography is genius! love it,

  • all the best... BIG BIG FAN.... BUT this is not a Bolero... Its Flemenco/Paso style dance. sorry, but she is amazing at what they gave her..... I hope she wins sytycd, I have no clue who she is.. Im just again a BIG BIG FAN....

  • rofl. it's more like "inspired" bolero, but really Jazz.

  • I think it's just the title that doesn't necessarily mean it's the style.

  • wow love the choreography, the costume, the music, everything!

  • she just graduated from my school (:

  • totally just made SYTYCD top 20!!!!

  • do u have new videos of dancers from focal point?

  • when was this?

  • almost 3 years ago, she was 15 almost 18- you do the math

  • One word "Wow" that was so amazing

  • this girl has the most incredible jumps ive ever seen!

  • THAT WAS AMAZING OMG!

youre really gonna make it big

  • i love you jeanine

    your amazing :]

    love, Amanda xoxo
