We can always claim that anything is corrupted from our own perspective because the Quran was written more than a hundred years later. BonsaiSky, I thought that the Koran was put together around 100 years after Mohammed died thanks to one man's (one of his relative's?) efforts to collect together scraps of bark and the like that people had written down on, what Mohammed said when he was alive to different people in scattered places and times. The sayings were then put together in a rather haphazard fashion, hence it is rather hard to follow the Koran's contents very logically. Does you research confirm this compilation method?

Satan casts doubts on believers, One of the ways is to say that the Bible is corrupted. But show us the corrupted verses or the whole thing is corrupted? We can always claim that anything is corrupted from our own perspective because the Quran was written more than a hundred years later. This is a very good means to descourage Muslims from reading the Scriptures and thereby prevent them from knowing the truths and become critical.

BonsaiSky, I thought that the Koran was put together around 100 years after Mohammed died thanks to one man's (one of his relative's?) efforts to collect together scraps of bark and the like that people had written down on, what Mohammed said when he was alive to different people in scattered places and times. The sayings were then put together in a rather haphazard fashion, hence it is rather hard to follow the Koran's contents very logically. Does you research confirm this compilation method?

No actually it was two moths before the prophet Mohamed died quran was finished but after mohamed (S) died Abu Bakr relized he should collect the chapters , when the Uthman was the Khalifah after abu bakr, he feared that unless the quran was compiled in to one book people might add a verse or forget a verse. Uthman collected the official copy of the quran that Abu bakr had collected and he (Uthman) made several copies of the original version.

It appears later in Hadith, and where likely Muslims came into contact with Christians. Further since we are not to take things out of context and we are still refering to the Chapter 5 of the book: that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
For we have not even looked at the whole book: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

How do you know that the Quran of today is the same as when Muhammad spoke it? If you look into the history of the quran is was not written till 300 years after Muhammad died. In contrast the words of Jesus were written by direct witnesses to his words. The Gospel of Mark was written down 30-35 years after Jesus died. The history casts much more doubt on the accuracy of the Quran than on the accuracy of the Bible.

You are wrong it appears that Mohammed did not change the Koran as things went along. The Koran records the removal of some verses and adding of other verses. This does not sound like you idolised version of the book.

Mohammad was from the Arabian Peninsula and is an Arab- he never went to Palestine or Israel. He was also illiterate and unable to read or evaluate the written word of God (unlike the Ethiopian eunuch he did both, for example). Do you believe the Qur’an would "confirm" a corrupted, unreliable book? (Surat 5:46; Surat 2:85). Why does the Qur’an say, "Bring the Torah and read it" (Surat 3:93) if it was unreliable?
Who supposedly corrupted the Scriptures? Doesn't God protect His word? The Quran says Jesus taught truthfully- so was it Jesus' apostles who lied and died for those lies? Jesus picked liars for his disciples?

The contention of this video is that the Word of God has been corrupted according to the commentator.The point is that he is wrong & misleading. Neither the Hebrew scriptures, nor the New Testament of Jesus has been corrupted. The assertion itself is arrogant and unlearned. Virtually all of the muslim text is wrongly wrested from the Bible.. Jesus commanded DO NOT corrupt the Bible as (muslims have done or you will be curseed)

Not ONLY that, but it tells Christians and Jews "People of the Book", to stand FIRM upon the Bible (5:68), and for YOU, a Muslim, to GO to those who have read the before Scriptures "Bible" (10:94), and, that you aren't a Muslim IF you don't believe in ALL of Allah's books (4:136).

@snnicky the quran is very clear in what it said. previous scriptures has been corrupted but that didn't mean there's no truth in them . as they were corrupted there still some truth in them regarding the oneness of GOD and the law (code of life). this law which still in the bible the quran is telling to "people of the book" to stand firm with it.

Yeah, your arguments are so superficial, circular l and unsupportable it is astounding. You have no proof that either the Tanakh or the New Testament have been "corrupted". The absurdity of this assertion can be seen in the fact that christians alone have far more intact manuscripts than does the quaran which is riveted with contradictions. U argue on false assumptions that God protects the Quaran, but not His original Words. The most non-contextual assertions are made by apologists like URself

Besides numerous contradictions in the quaran, there are contradictions in your supporting texts. The quaran is CORRUPTED & Muhammad DID NOT receive any valid message from God and the tact that he contradicts earlier scriptures prove it. Also, if the text is so corrupted perhaps U shd tell prominent muslims who quote it.

Secondly, where did you hear this noncence about early scriptures contradicting the modern Quran? I have seen myself the very early Quran and they were the PERFECT MATCH of the modern Quran. dude we momerozed this book for 1400 years and thats how we preserved it...
