@nellings6 it would be xlr from the axe fx into the interface then firewire from the interface to the comp, dont think the axe fx has a firewire port

Usually just a compresser followed by EQ and a harmonic exciter

@SeanStephensen Hmmm, not the way i see it. If you EQ before a compressor, it does what you said. So why EQ before it, because it'll hardly make any difference once it's went through compressor and been all squished back into something else.

@circleofpit Mainly for expansion later on, when i have more stuff, it stops me needing more than one plug. But also it protects against power surges at gigs and i've played some dodgy venues...

You should do a tutorial on how to program in your drums. I think that is probably the hardest thing for beginning recorders. Nice video and keep it up.

@ourgamingfun How do you mean? haha, firewire is only used for the interface, a mic is an xlr input to firewire interface, but you can't mic an axe fx unless you have it running through a cabinet, which I don't
