@gamingguyme Actually one time (earlier today) I put both on the same class (Overkill) to test that out. The M14 ACOG has a lot more recoil, bigger magazine, and less damage and range. Just less damage because it cannot get a 1-shot headshot like the M21 can, and less range because it becomes 3 shot kill at long range and the M21 is always 2.

Extreme conditioning.

I don't really like ACOG for this gun since I could do the same with a M14, But the M21's power is good.

Well you have to remember that CoD4 has a "Join in progress" feature that will allow you to join in during the last 2 minutes of the game. I don't remember how I calculated, but I either truncated those games I joined in progress or just factored that into the time played.
