  • hey dude, awesome bike!!! ive just picked up a 450 rebel myself in a hell of a state in the UK, having a nightmare trying to get the electrics sorted, even wiring the battery is proving a nightmare with wires all over the place. could you send me a copy of your simple electrics diagram??? cheers bud

  • Im building an 87 rebel 450. Where did you get the oil tank ?

  • @redline8407 Sent you an email. It was from a harley sportster.Just something small enough to work with.It houses all the electrical wires rectifier and takes the battery with a tight fit.It was perfect to use for my starter and acc switches.Good Luck.

  • perfect bobber dude

  • Where did you pick up your solo seat?

  • @shaokem Solo Seat was a found part in the garage there all over ebay and maybe even local Craigslist.

  • Building a rigid bobber/chop in New Zealand. Thanks for posting, that diagram might be veeeery helpful, cheers! Great bike, enjoy!

  • Great job! Do you have many nice idea! i like the rear suspension staff, with the ext. pipe... and all together! :) The motor-cyclists well men!

  • i just got a rebel 450 and i like to turn it into a bobber. can you tell me where you got the risers, and the handlebars, and i love the airfilters.please let me know where can i get those.nice job,and good luck with the paintjob.thanks robert.

  • @TheKyokuman You can email me anytime.Im pretty active here from week to week.As for the risers that depends on the tank I seen some guys use straight bars ape hangers ect .If your going to use 1" then google or ebay 1inch risers those are 6" on mine to clear the tank. The tank will dictate your set up.As for the Pod Filters they are 54mm ebay for 20$ or so.Some things to consider jets shims ect if you take your air box off.I posted link to get around the problems that comes with removal.Good Luk

  • @lucaslst thanks for your help i have the same tank as yours.i got this bike for 3 months of poolservice, with 2300 original miles on it. this honda seems like a wery reliable bike, and i am exited about the project. i vill be contacting you if i need more help.i am a 2 stroke guy.me and my kids riding dirtbikes on the weekends.4 stroke seems to be little more complicated.great job on your bike again.thanks robert.

  • Look anyone who has interest in bikes is ok with me . Doesnt matter what ya ride as long as you ride and enjoy what ya doing.

  • Thank you! Thank you! My boyfriends self inflicted bald spot is no longer an issue. He followed your electrical diagrams and... well, let me just say he's no longer scratching his head. Phew! Could you please email/send me a copy of the electrical diagram you simplified? It was really helpful.

Regarding that loser...um sorry, "Loosemeat..s" comments. He's probably upset because his prison wife hasnt been treating him like bitch that he is. Sorry for the vulgarity, but I'm just saying.

  • I think you're fucking gay. Just show the bike. Not your fake ass "biker" lifestyle. You didn't put anything on that bike that you thought was cool, just things you thought everyone else would think was cool. Stop trying to be a badass. I can see right through that bullshit.

  • @loosemeatfucker

So some fast history here.Great Idea, but it is not a practical motorcycle due to a serious lack of parts. The 250 was made from 85-87/96-09.The 450 only in 86-87.Not that many were made. And To save 1 from the crusher, anyone who knows this would say your lucky to have or found one in any condition. As for parts. Its rat bike google it.Look bro I remodel houses and you moms face when she comes over.Try building something instead of tearing your sister up while your moms here.OK !!

  • I think you're fucking gay. Show the bike, not your fake ass "biker" attitude. Total set up. The beer (that was already open), the shirt, the cigarette. Just stop being a wannabe. Doesn't seem like you're passion is the bike, just the image. Fag.

  • @loosemeatfucker I wasnt going to post but what the hell. First off this vid was made for the fourm guys that did similar mock ups off there bike. Thanks!!And Yes It was set up.I dont live with my mom,so I had to film it solo.As for beer and smokes sorta goes with the garage after work. Your not active on this site dude, the only reason I left your posts up was well,Because...its what you are apparently and I dont think anyone gives a dam.So good luck with that.

  • nice i like it, i just picked up my uncles old 86 250 rebel thats been sitting for years and i am goin to have someone go thru it an get it running its in perfect condition, but i like what you did to your i want to do something just liek that to mine where can i find that bar kit you got on your also i noticed your battery was not where mine is did u put it under the seat?
