@cybagooseuk We have plenty of large raptors in the UK if you know where to look. Ever seen an eagle owl up close? I've had one fly into me at a county faire once. It was supposed to fly past me but owls aren't that bright. They are f-kin huge! Really impressive looking birds.

I also regularly see buzzards when I am hiking but not that close...

The Eagle does have a cry that is just as impressive as the Red-Tailed Hawk. But it usually only does it in flight. Like the Red-Tail, Its cry is used in movies as well. Its very unique and mystical. If you watch much TV you will only hear to sounds that come from birds of prey. The Red-Tailed hawk is the obvious. The other sound is a Bald Eagle. If you watch NFL Network you will hear this Cry when The coach of the Eagles says "I'm Andy Reid and your watching NFL Network".
