Just talking to a dealer today and they said that if you take up Toyota's 3.9% finance the dealer has to pay the rest of the remaining interest rate. Therefore they put extra on the price to cover this. For example KX-S kluger with finance is $50,000 drive away, cash price he could do $48,788. Sounds good in theory 3.9% interest but makes no difference if they then take a couple of grand onto purchase price, to cover their interest payments.
