That was actually a much higher quality production than I was expecting! Often, high school ensembles are...generous...in their deviation allowance in regards to pitch...
I played a trombone and played the mouthpiece only and hit those very low pedal notes. Other band members laughed instead of playing in practice {;-P Funniest pieces played in high school
hmm? very intresting We are playing this song for our next concert. I play first clarinet. Your first clarinetist was bending his notes during the last clarinet soli towards the end of the song. its sounds very cool, very jazzy. I think im going to ask my band director if i could do the same thing cuz it sounds very cool....even though it doesnt fit the genre.
My mom was filming :) The percussionists' "Crasho Mucho Grosso" startled her a bit, hee hee. I got the other movements, I just haven't uploaded them yet...
My own high school did this too. As a percussionist, we had a lot of fun with the "Crasho Mucho Grosso." We had a bunch of old broken equipment, like cymbals, along with various chairs, that we hid backstage--one of them being an old gong. Let's just say we got it rolling to make a huge sound that definitely started everyone including the band.

I know! They have the best parts!
I've played this before (I'm a trumpet player, sorry...), but no trombones is madness, nonetheless.
