OK now do a whole load of clothes..I like the concept. My grand parents have an old hand operated washing machine that has a crank on it and a ringer. holds 10 gallons of water.
@mogges1 yeah, i agree...good concept for one person to clean his clothes but say you had a family of 5....husband, wife, 3 kids.......when I was a kid my mother had this awful looking exposed dual barrel washing machine. One barrel was probably wash and one was rince (this was when I was very small about 1956) it had a hand crank on it to squeeze the water out of the cloths. When we finally got a real washing machine we felt like millionaires.
@inkey2 lol the idea is that everyone helps do the laundry. Kids as young as 4 would want to do this and it's good exercise. I agree though it's not something that would be interesting for everyone.
I'm sold! Great product! I've already got the jumbo salad spinner and retractable clothesline for the drying cycle. But please, redo your video. The action is so slow that it appears to have been filmed for the benefit of those under the influence of...shall we say...ketchup and all its natural mellowing agents. Also, please wash more than a couple articles of clothing; that's an awful lot of water used for just those shirts. Thanks!
Hey guys, I know I'm a little young and all, but my grandparents and father own this business "The breathing Mobile Washer" And they've just recently put up their own video of the assembly and part uses, ect. so if you're interested just watch the video breathing washer assembly and he tells you their website on it, so if you'd like more details from the original distributor, you should check it out :).
I have one of these and like it a lot. I purchased it about 5 months ago, since moving into an apartment from a house. I don't like carrying laundry up and down stairs and the extra money saved doesn't hurt.

And for the ultimate rinse cycle, hang your clothing in the rain. Ahhhh progress! The third world inventions that improve our lives. Question....how do you keep those towels soft and fluffy? And washing tennis shoes might be a bit of a bitch!

@trinidad718 There was at one time a few brands of washers that had an up and down agitation and one that was called the calypso that sort of did a hula-hoop type action. Up and down with this thingy on a stick will get 'er done!
what most washer are a rip off. the clothes in this bucket still get a spinning action, a 360 degree spinning action. It might not be a level horizontal action, but the 360 degree action, and a much more severe rapid spinning and agitation. Kind of like if you were to light one of those hand fire cracker sparklers, and wave it all around....yea like that. These clothes are clean. Although dirt is heavier than water, and I would have let that soak in plain rain water first.

And for our next lesson, we will place a block of ice in a tub and chill our food, calling it a refrigerator. And the power you'll save in electric bills....WOW WEEEEE! ECO-friendly!
I also love the fact that the woman does this work, to add another historical dimension to the use of it. I
And for our next act Patriarchy lessons of women cooking over a fire while hubby slurps a can of beer.
@wazoome Wow...I can tell you are very young. This is a product for people who choose to live off the grid which means no electricity! Ask the Amish. They do it. Some people like this way of life. And with what is going on in the world today..it may be coming soon to YOUR town. Then we can all learn to make our own beer and drink it WARM! Have a day!! ;-)
I've got one and it's amazing how well it works. Doesn't really take too much effort, and you can control the action of it (gentle or not). I'm sure it can remove more dirt than a conventional machine. Probably doesn't wear them out as much as an agitator would on a conventional machine as well.
The great thing about the Mobile Washer (unlike a toilet plunger) is how it actually pushes and pulls the water through the clothes with very little effort. It creates a great agitation-like motion that works really well. Nothing against the toilet plunger...
This is the way I do it. Love it. :) ,,,,,,, Goodbye Corporate America.....

THAT'S IT! That's Just what my husband and I have been looking for! Something that will wash clothes with No Electric and it's portable. THANK YOU!!

Use this with a new mop bucket with a ringer on it. Better than hand squeezing.

@0TheBestMan I'd buy a wringer (usually around $140-160) and then use a drying rack. That's what I do.

@wazoome Actually, rain water acts as a natural softening agent...if you can do that it will work.

it would be good if there was something that rotates and makes the same agitation as a top load washer as you press down on the stick!
