Progress is beautiful and unstoppable. But American cars are just way to old to make any progress, like 80 years old mama. So, they are going down, no matter how much government would help them. Such problem could not be fixed by money, it's the altitude of refusal to progress that kills them. Wake up and go bankruptcy, if you don't fit in anymore. There is no need to be patriotic, since Americans are all immigrants anyways.

I live in the US and I hate to say it.. but you are correct.. US cars don't have what German cars have quality, service and performance. Its greed and too many "old" bags run GM.. we need fresh minds with no big unions.. its their own fault..

american SUVs r THE WORST cars ever..!! the other day i drove a chevrolet USV.. MY GODNESS.. it was SO NOT COMFERTABLE, probably the worst driving experience i've ever had.. it was just so terrible :S

On the other hand i tried the Audi Q7 which was just so graceful and luxurious.. one of the best cars i drove..

no wonder the american auto industry are losing money.. they SUCK !

Well, i live in kuwait as well.. So i can see ur point..

But we're talking about luxury, elegance and preformance..

American cars are lacking in comfort and elegance, what's the point of driving a car that i'm not comfertable in..?

And FYI i drove the Q7 to the desert and every possible place.. the car performed wonderfully.. now u can't compare the Q7 to something like Tahoe ! they are different kind of cars ! we're talking luxurious SUV's here.. the Audi Q7 and Q5 are great in that area.

try the lincolin navigator , no other SUV can compare wth him , in 2008 las vegas auto show , he was num 1 comparing with range rover , cayenn , X5 audi and ML .

explain that , beside it depends on the person him self , did u try the new ford suvs , they changed 180 degree as they became more quite , luxury , and more stability .

and me my self i dont choose my car untill i try all the cars from lada TO BENTLEY :))))

In my prespective, the audi Q7 is amazing..

And i did try the ford, it's just not as luxurious as the audi..

did u try the new ones , i admited 2000-2005 models are cheap and sucks , thats why for seeks a new plan and the 2006-2009 are better than before , as you can notice youre not driving american cars , but germen quality , i do say that q7 is a powerful car but not for me , remember my friend it just opinions , in the final its just a god dammed car wether if its audi or ford or toyota . :))) cheers and sorry for the hard words
