Buen video, aunk personalmente prefiero la versión original de X-Japan... no solo por los punteos de hide sinó pork la voz de Toshi me transmite más. Aún así es un buen cover ^^, me gusta más k la versión de las Charm.

btw the japanise style is light so it was 1996 its power metal but you hear Dragonland use a keyboard and X use a piano the cover sounds more power metal than the original^^

i just love the starfall and astronomy albums. in my point of view the other albums sound like they could have been done by another band. this is my favourite song along with antimatter and direction perfection.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'd dare assert that this cover makes the song sound more like power metal than the alternative metal of the original (it especially seems very befitting of the power metal genre in the chorus). I won't say any one is better; why not just accept them on their own merits? This version lacks the classical backing the original had, but this has something the original doesn't have as well. Both are genius in their own rights.

The writing credit of course goes to the genius of x-japan.... BUT this version is far better.

Better guitar, better drums, better everything.... only his voice sometimes isnt quite as good

better.. It's not like power metal didn't exist when rusty nail was written. rather x japan chose a more light and clean style for this song and their music in general, which is a subjective matter of taste. my personal opinion is that the lighter sound fits this song much better, but clearly, you disagree. :)

@seito LOL dude the first time I heard this version I was like WTF. X Japan rules.. you gotta admit it takes balls to try to do a cover of one of their songs. It may "suck" as you so eloquently put it, but at least realize that for some people, this is the only version they will ever no. Better a bad version than none at all, this song is so epic. X Japan forever.
